If you're in town to tackle the fairways, then the Omni Tucson National Resort is the place to stay. This sprawling resort in northern Tucson hosts numerous PGA Tour events, having seen the likes of legends such as Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. And when the greens aren't challenging professional putters, this Omni's two 18-hole courses, the Catalina and the Sonoran, are open to resort guests. Even if you aren't a linksman, you'll find what you need for a pleasant getaway at this resort. Previous visitors praise the 13,000-square-foot spa, and many say that they enjoyed simply spending the day along the edge of the infinity pool or savoring a hearty slab of meat at Bob's Steak & Chop House. And as for the accommodations themselves, travelers love the modern take on Southwestern decor, with colorful desert-inspired hues. Members of Omni's Select Guest program should consider using their points to upgrade to a room with a private balcony or patio.
