Monica

Feb 15th, 2020

We love this hotel and come here almost every year. This year I booked on Hotwire and was told I would have a King room. When I got to hotel they told me that 3rd party booking get last priority. The 3rd party did not tell us that. Monica and Sean we very understanding and upgraded us to a fabulous room. They did not have to do that but they took time to explain and did. Thank you for making this misunderstanding into a wonderful stay!! We will be back! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice hotel, very disappointed with valet parking. Understanding busy Friday night but not having parking for your guests is unacceptable. Very poor planning for a hotel like this. We do a lot of traveling and this has never happened before, haven’t even heard of it. We had to park several blocks away in sub zero windchill temps and walk back to hotel. This will not be our first choice when we return to Pittsburgh. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great Weekend

Feb 10th, 2020

I had a great time at the Omni. Palm court at night, tap room during the day. Their Chili is addicting. The beds and pillows are so comfy it was hard to get out of bed. I thank the whole staff including Leanna, Margareta, Madison, Monica, Kristen, Leah, Alton, Zach, Krystal, Gaynell and Paul. Very carrying team. Will return, hopefully soon. Thanks again Omni William Penn Team and for your hospitality. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Saturday High Tea

Feb 10th, 2020

Was very excited to try their Saturday High Tea. Came in from out of town, about an hour drive. looked it up ahead of time, saw the menu and made a reservation. saw signs on the outside advertising it as we walked in and it looked amazing. For sure not worth $30 a person. The items listed on the website menu were not all on our plates. and it seemed as though everyone around us were getting different items. i do not like coffee flavored desserts and our macaroons were both coffee flavored, the table behind us looked like they got strawberry or vanilla. would like to have been offered a choice the different flavors. The smoked salmon and egg mini sandwhiches were luke warm almost like they were sat out too long next to an oven or stove, when i believe they should be served cold. gave me a stomach ache for the rest of the evening, and the person with me got sick from it. stay away from it, avoid the afternoon tea. Nearly perfect

Feb 10th, 2020

The hotel is wonderful, if a bit awkward to navigate because it’s so large. We entered from Grant Street and had a bit of a hard time finding the front desk due to lack of signage. We initially received a room key for an already occupied room (the key didn’t work, thankfully, so we didn’t scare the occupant). Got our correct room number. The room was clean and very spacious. The water pressure in the shower was very satisfactory. The room was clean and cozy. The only problem I had was that I accidentally left my retainer on the night stand, and I didn’t realize until we were home. I called and they said they didn’t have it, so I can only assume housekeeping threw it out. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
