Resort's plethora of business and kids amenities make this a popular option for business travelers and families
This property charges a daily resort fee
Perched a few miles from the eastern edge of Walt Disney World Resort, the Orlando World Center Marriott provides an ideal location for leisure travelers (especially those with kids) and the amenities business travelers expect. Not only is this Marriott outpost close to the theme parks, but it also offers a variety of on-site supervised activities for children. While your youngsters are occupied, you can hit the fairways at the 18-hole golf course, indulge in a treatment at the on-site spa or break a sweat at the 24-hour fitness center. When it's time to refuel, you'll have five dining options to choose from, plus a grab-and-go market. Past visitors raved about the service provided in all of the on-site eateries. In Orlando on business? You'll have access to a 24-hour business center and nearly 400,000 square feet of event space. There are also four pools, including one with waterfalls and three waterslides. But remember, this property charges a daily resort fee of $28.13. If you're a Marriott Bonvoy member, you can help offset resort charges by using points to pay for your room.

Critic Reviews

This massive resort is equally popular with both leisure and business travelers. A long winding drive leads you right to the front entrance, which will be just the beginning of an unforgettable stay.

This luxury resort is one of Orlando's largest, catering to conventions (nearly a half-million square feet of meeting space) and families. It sits in the middle of a golf course, just a mile or so from Disney's front door.

It's the world's largest Marriott ... a huge free-form pool and waterslide; extensive convention space; a great gym and spa; a golf course; seven restaurants. Though largely a business hotel, its location (a 5-minute shuttle from Disney) and large, very comfortable rooms, make it a solid option for families as well.

Mighty large, mighty busy, and mighty hard to ignore, the 200-acre World Center rises like a citadel over I-4, a straight shot into Disney on Epcot Center Drive. Handsome and appointed as a Marriott resort should be – the pool and slide tower are among the best in town – it's actually the well-funded infrastructure that does all the work.
