Great location poor customer service

Feb 18th, 2020

Arrived early after notifying the hotel that I would require my room early and prepared to pay extra. Got to the hotel to be told my room was not ready. Not what I wanted to hear at 7:00am after an overnight flight. Only option was to pay extra to upgrade to a club room which I did. Once sorted I wanted something to eat. Checked the in room dining menu to see that breakfast was served until 10:30am. So I called at 10:18 only to be told the kitchen was ‘closed’. After querying this with the lady on the other end, she said I’ll go and see what we have left!! Well as you can imagine that didn’t sound too appetising. I was expecting it to be cooked fresh?? Not leftovers from the mornings buffet! I sent an email to the manager who came back with an apology. However for the first comment a member of staff to make to be The Kitchens Closed’ left me feeling rather sad. Not what I would expect at all. The general lack of customer service continued through my stay. Such a shame. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Ok for short stay

Feb 16th, 2020

Quiet hotel about 10 minute walk to the waterfront of Darling Harbour. Large room with comfortable bed and good bathroom although our room was very dark. Tea and coffee making facilities. Around 10 minute walk to Town Hall train station. Lots of convenience shops nearby plenty of restaurants in Darling Harbour. Didn’t have breakfast here so can’t comment. Overall ok place to stay as clean and tidy a good base for a short stay in Sydney. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Cleanliness ??????

Feb 14th, 2020

Very nice hotel close to the harbour and nightlife, downside would be seems to be built under a very busy road. Bad experience was dirty hairs in fridge and bath also someone’s toe nail in drinking cups, cleaner was also spotted picking his nose. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Blissful after a very long flight

Feb 13th, 2020

We were welcomed by Maria who was very good.all the staff in the reception were very friendly and helpful. We had a spacious room on the fourth floor. It had everything we wanted. Space, spotlessly clean, fluffy towels, very good bath products, lovely comfy bed with really luxurious bed linen and very good quality tea and coffee. We had a view of Darling harbour, and walked easily to Queen Victoria shopping which was worth a visit to see the stunning building. There are lots of coffee bars and restaurants nearby. Breakfast was very good and plenty of choices. Overall an excellent stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
