Great place

Sep 23rd, 2020

I stayed here for 4 months through lockdown and Josh and Elaine were amazing shame Glasgow was on lockdown or this would have been right in the centre of everything. Can’t recommend it highly enough for business or pleasure TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Central location and nice apartment

Aug 24th, 2020

The apartments are very central and many look onto George Square and Queen Street. Bed very comfortable and furnishings were ok too. Parking was available at Michael street and was subsidised by 50 % which was also very helpful. Would come back. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

More than just apartments- the staff are absolute credit to their employers

Aug 20th, 2020

I turned up in Glasgow originally for 3 days with the plan of going home to Aberdeen......however, Aberdeen went into I couldn’t go home. I had to extend further and rent an office space in Glasgow. Then tragedy struck, I got news that my Dad passed away. I simply explained to the caring staff who bent over backwards for me. My special thanks go out to Josh and Laura. Thank you so much for all of your assistance and care. You have made a friend for life. To the management- both members of staff are an absolute credit to you. Take care and special wishes TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Awesome Stay

Jul 13th, 2020

Premiere Suites Glasgow was my base for an entire year, and I must say that from a location stand point it is in the heart of Glasgow downtown i.e. accessibility is super good. The apartment was clean and weekly service was never missed. The entire staff of this property are friendly an diligent in what they promise to serve their customers. Fully equipped kitchen, you don't have much but can survive with what you have. You can walk to Tesco across the street get a Pizza or ingredients etc. to bake, cook and eat Clean sheets and Towels - Hotel standard quality maintained There is a TV, haven't switched on ever but I believe it comes with basic channels Rewards - You get rewards which you can use to avail of stay in other PS properties or Amazon Vouchers [I got a lot, about 1000 GBP for an years stay] House keeping staff are courteous and diligent Few Improvement Areas Since this is in the heart of City Center, do account for some amount of noise from the streets, on-going vehicles, Drunkards singing along etc. No key cards to access the apartments but Keys. No intercom to reach the reception. You either email them [timely response provided] or call them directly Main door access code provided as a print-out which is slipped in through your door every Monday weekly once or bi-weekly TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not so ‘Premier’

Jul 12th, 2020

I can understand the requirement for minimal furniture within premises during COVID but this place was sparse and uncomfortable. I was assured that we’d have 2 sofas in the 2 bed apartment that we rented, this was not the case. The bedrooms were extremely cramped and had a 3/4 double in each. Not suitable for 2 normal sized adults to sleep in, but would be fine for 2 kids to share. We are pretty well travelled but I’ve never experienced heat quite like this within the building. We were 6 floors up, above some kind of generator which was a constant drone from 8am until around 9 in the evening, with the windows opened it was so very distracting especially as we were both working. The fan they provided was unaffective and we had to purchase our own. A young man who was employed there has a very unfortunate manner, he was rude to both myself and my partner on 2 separate occasions, there had been a fire alarm, whilst I’d gone to pick up some provisions. On my return the door code had been disarmed and I couldn’t gain entry. I buzzed the reception who assured me that the code was active. After attempting another 3 times this young chap by the name of George came to the door and opened it. He said that the fire alarm had rendered the entry system as disarmed and required to be reset. I asked if all was ok his response was “do you think I’d be standing here if it wasn’t”. His manner wasn’t funny, he was down right rude. We had asked that our room be serviced, you notified staff by hanging a note on the outside of the door. I’d been washing towels which I didn’t have a problem doing but the tumble dryer wasn’t working. The same young man came to the door and when my partner opened it he said “would you mind standing back please”. Again his manner was rude, he in fact should have been standing back. Our experience overall was poor and we wouldn’t recommend this place. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
