Resort fee rip off

Oct 14th, 2019

Massive resort fee even though main pool was closed and we had the pool the size of my uncles for use. Food was sub par for massive price. I’ll stay at the cosmo or Wynn again as we had to go there for the pool party as palms closed theirs already. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The most amazing balcony

Oct 14th, 2019

Absolutely loved it, really couldn't have asked for a better room / view We were in room 302 on the 50th floor and the balcony was soo huge we could see sunset from one side and sunrise from the other ...Amazing We had a kitchen , living room with amazing fire , massive bedroom with bath tub looking onto the strip , great big bathroom with biggest shower ive ever seen. Loved it and would definitely stay again Just a pity the pool was closed on our stay , would have been nice to have been informed beforehand but would definitely stay again TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Palms place hotel and spa affordable clean room. Quiet centrally located! No complaints!! The hotel has a pool, gym, casino and restaurants on site. Friendly staff. I stayed in the 1 bedroom with strip view. Room had a kitchenette and fully stocked fridge. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Airbnb is the way to go if you want balcony access.

Oct 2nd, 2019

Palms Place was preferable to me over the Ivory or the Fantasy Tower rooms at Palms. The bathrooms have tubs. There's a kitchenette. It is further removed from the action, but I can live with that. In truth, I value the party being a little off in the distance. Hooray for reviews. I learned via TripAdvisor reviews that balconies don't have access. And that the kitchenettes don't have the niceties to be able to use the kitchen facility: cups etc. Explore your Airbnb options, you can get a better appointed room. I booked the room titled Palms Envy. I was able to enjoy hanging out on a furnished balcony with a view that had friends all taking selfies. I had glassware. And I had a great time. I had the opportunity to visit another couple's room, same room type, booked through the hotel. It's interesting to see the unique touches that owners have put on their condominiums. Even things as simple as some of the furnishings make a difference. Our room was more inviting for hanging with friends. The location absolutely worked for us. We like to kick back and relax. Nearby dispensaries. A chill breakfast at the restaurant by the pool. People watching at the buffet. This absolutely suited our needs. We'll be returning. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice building - great stay

Oct 1st, 2019

We stayed for one week. This building is a luxury condo building. It was built in 2006 so not the newest and shiniest but very nice. Units are managed by the hotel or other management companies. We booked our unit through Air BnB. There are some high end units in the building and many studios that are rented out. There were a lot of high end luxury vehicles out front. Because we were here for a week, we wanted a kitchenette that we could make coffee and breakfast. There is a restaurant on site that over looks the pool and a bar in the lobby (underwhelming). There is easy access to the casino and main hotel through a walk way on the second floor. There is a moving sidewalk. There is a great casino. Ate at Mabel’s BBQ - very good. We would take Lyft up to the strip at night. Roughly $9-10 depending on where you are going. We parked in the self park open lot across from the entrance. Always got a spot. The building gets busy on the weekend with young people. There were some partiers on Saturday that were screaming and woke us. It didn’t last long and was not a big deal. Great stay.
