Amazing week at the Paradisus!

Feb 21st, 2020

Me and my friends had an amazing week at Paradisus La Perla and had the most amazing service by Carmen when we went to get drinks at the Shisha Bar! She made us feel like it was our home! The beach is awesome and especially calm when you go a little further where the kids can't come! Also, for an all inclusive, the alcool selection is very good and drinks taste good! Feb 20th, 2020

The entire experience was very positive. Staff wonderful, food excellent. Facilities very nice. Beach very nice. Would recommend and would go again. Renau in La Palapa was excellent, our cleaning person Miss Gonzales was excellent. All staff were very accommodating and very pleasant, kind, VERY HARDWORKING people. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Two great live experiences in one night

Feb 19th, 2020

Usually the small stage is taken up with bands that are background music, but the trio on stage last night, Electricacoustic, were something different. The vocalist had a great voice and kept the audience engaged. And the lead guitarist was super talented and a absolute bundle of energy. I'm sorry, but I didn't get the name of the second band, they were doing "live" karaoke. They were good enough that I turned to my buddy (who plays bass) and asked "are you sure they aren't using backing tracks?". I was mistaken, it was live and they were a gas too. Average all inclusive resort

Feb 19th, 2020

Pros: Beautiful, clean, quick service. Cons: Extremely difficult to make dinner reservations. Only One place that serves breakfast. The website leads you to believe the “water ritual” in the spa is no extra change, but it is $25 extra per day. Had to ask multiple times to have my room stocked with extra water. Lack of fun activities during the day and at night. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

"It's your vacation, anything is possible"

Feb 19th, 2020

Spent a week here with my wife in Feb 2020. Staff were all great- special shout out to Rueben poolside who started off my first day right by replying to one of my questions with "it's your vacation, anything is possible!". Dora kept the energy up during the day, Sergio was always around to make sure everything was good, and the bartender doing the tequila tasting was very knowledgeable. Food was pretty good, although each restaurant requires a reservation which makes it hard to visit the best ones repeatedly. Mainly the vibe is chill at the pool/beach (if it's calm enough) all day, eat a late (8-9pm) dinner, and then maybe see if anything is going on at night. Lastly, I'd say the activities and nightlife could use some work. While I don't always want to be up late, if I do it'd be nice if there was a bit more going on at night. The kids side of the resort has a TON of little kids running around all willy-nilly and it gets pretty annoying so we didn't venture over there besides for dinner a couple times. Kids seemed to stay on their own side mainly while we were there which was nice. We have no regrets visiting and would recommend. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
