Absolutely overpriced!

Jul 1st, 2020

Good points are location and room cleanliness only (+ no bed bugs). The room is small, dark and needs renovation. It’s stated 26 sq m, but seems smaller. It was on 8th floor but city noise didn’t bother us. Most of all I was surprised that there’s no mini fridge in the room. Of course no minibar or even a bottle of water. Room amenities are very poor: there’s shampoo, conditioner and shower gel, but no cotton pads/buds, shower cap, toothbrushes, coffee machine, teapot or anything else. Although there’s a hairdryer and iron in the room. I could clearly hear all noises outside and from the room next door. Resort fee is 41 USD per night and includes WIFI use, fitness access, telephone use and “other services” which aren’t specified. No bottled water. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Trying to be unbias

Jun 23rd, 2020

We usually stay at much Higher rated, brand-name hotels but we thought we would give Park Central Hotel a try this time to New York City. It’s a very old hotel which was recently renovated. Their types of rooms are quite limited. We got what I understood as being a slightly better room because of a higher floor, but still the view was of the brick building across the alley. The floor is just carpet on top of uneven cement you can feel under your feet. The bathroom requires acrobatic skill to get in and out of, with the door barely clearing the toilet bowl when it opens and closes. We had a very big issue with the nightly rate as we had reserved “best rate possible”, a few months prior, yet the rate that night was half. Manager was very nice and very quick in refunding us part of our stay. Hotel stay comes with drink vouchers that I didn’t even end up using. My 4?star rating is due to the fact that In all reality it is a perfect location and just fine, big bang for your buck, but if you’re used to more luxurious lodging and accommodations this hotel will not deliver. Doubts where to stay in New York ?

Jun 17th, 2020

If you are traveling to NYC and you are still in doubts about where to stay , the Park Central Hotel is definitely an excellent place. Great location ( near of the most NY tourist attractions ). Comfortable bedrooms, excellent reception . The employees do everything to make us comfortable. It’s my sixty time at New York and my sixth time at The park Central Hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great customer service from Nick

Jun 5th, 2020

I was recently there for a couple of months as part of the covid-19 healthcare response team with Krucial Staffing. Nick helped ensure that I would receive a package that Was delivered there after I left. That was very appreciated! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

No dining here. Misleading covid -19 statement on their website.

May 27th, 2020

The hotel has a covid -19 statement that implies they still have food service for hotel guests (who are obviously here only for work) socially distanced, cleaned etc. ..But implies still available. This is in fact not available..everything is closed up and outside food orders get dropped off on a table with everyone else’s orders, purchases, etc. I’m Disappointed & hungry but not surprised. Also, Rooms (while clean like you should expect anytime) are tight and bathroom door hits the toilet. So it’s a little crowded feeling for even average. And Glad I brought beef jerky TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
