The staff at this hotel are truly phenomenal. Due to a last minute change in schedule, I booked a room around 6pm, arrived at 8pm and was greeted by Giacob. He was incredibly charming and friendly. He checked me in quickly, and was able to fulfill all requests I had for the room. He also graciously upgraded my room to a fantastic view after I unloaded the problems of my day on him! I was also given a drink coupon, and Sherman at the bar made me a fanatic cocktail. Sherman made an amazing drink, chatted with me, and checked in on me before I headed up to my room. The room itself is wonderful, bed was very comfortable, and again my view was fantastic. Thank you Giacob and Sherman soooo much for turning an insane day into a delightful evening. My visit was a last minute stay and they were able to squeeze me in and even upgraded me to a high floor with an ocean view. The bed, pillows and high end linen made me not want to wake up! From the moment I checked in (John even called me to confirm!) Rachel, Christopher and others were more than accommodating. Thank you all for making this a fantastic stay that I for sure will remember! I will be coming back! Thank you much!!!💕 TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We checked in and the hotel did not tell us the room would not be cleaned! We asked for a late checkout and was charged $100. I think the hotel could be more accommodating during this time. I will never recommend or stay at this hotel! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Nice property but terrible stay

We were in San Francisco for 1 night and I decided to use my Bonvoy points on this hotel since it had good overall reviews. What a waste of points. The room itself was not bad, the bathroom though, was seriously outdated. The bath tub/shower area need some serious upgrading. Shower water pressure was almost non existent and the drainage is so bad that your showering with water up to your ankles in the tub. We stayed on the 23rd floor, the whole floor stunk of weed, it was so bad that we could smell it in our room as well. When I called the front desk about it, they said that they were aware of the issue and are working on it. I called maybe 4-5 times through out the day and evening, got the same response each time, they're aware and spoke with the responsible guests and are spraying air freshener. Seriously? Air freshener?? How about evict the responsible guests since this is a non smoking hotel and they won't stop it. Ohh, and another thing, be prepared to see people sitting on the curb by the hotel and shooting up, seriously, guy had a syringe in his arm and another one was passed out next to him. I thought we had a lot of homeless people on the streets in Los Angeles, San Francisco is a 1000 times worse. Though there's nothing the hotel can do about the streets, they certainly can do something about whats happening inside their property and they did nothing. When I checked out, I told them about the weed smell again, the guy said "Yeah, sorry about that, we had a lot of calls about it through the night." All in all, would not stay here again based on my experience and awful bathroom. Don't forget, their parking/valet fee is $85 per night on top of the nightly room fee. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Views from our room was amazing showing off San Francisco beauty and all. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and right in downtown area convenient. The room itself was very clean and wonderful, looking forward to staying again soon! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
