This property only has their interests in mind, not the guests

Feb 13th, 2020

I'm Platinum member for life with this chain - but the truth seems that this property does not honey the chains customs and even courtesies for honest and nice guest exchanges. I asked to pay for a suite (Still available on line) The manager told me no, I had to keep the smaller room as booked. Now that is a first. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Sundance central

Jan 28th, 2020

I stayed here for a few nights around the Sundance Film Festival. The hotel also doubles as the Sundance Festival headquarters. It is a little out of town but within an easy cab ride of all the main festival venues. The breakfast is good and plentiful and the staff friendly and welcoming. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Motel 6 service

Jan 18th, 2020

I have never experienced more uncaring service. Short of rude but openly uncaring... that is if you have a problem as I had several and I guess I made them work.... I was stranded by snow storm with roads closed and 9d outside the last straw was I asked to stay another night and they told me I’d have to leave... I asked for help finding someplace and they said NO... look up other hotels! Ok I did as I’d die at 9degeees outside .. but staff could care less. I seldom write my opinion but this place was so bad I had to... ILL NEVER STAY AT A SHERIDAN AGAIN TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Economical Hotel for a Ski Vacation

Jan 15th, 2020

We booked several nights here, 8 weeks before we decided to tag Park City onto our whirlwind trip of the US. With the hotel being a part of the Sheraton Group and offering Club Facilities we knew we had a great deal. On arrival, the bell staff were so eager to please and couldn't do enough for you. We'd come off an early flight from Vegas into SLC and were surprised to be given our room key, by Reception at 10am. Thank you, you guys were champions! The shuttle service offered by the hotel, and their drivers, was also extremely accommodating. It was no trouble for them to drop you into Main Street, Park City during the day and they were happy to return and pick you up as long it didn't clash with afternoon pickups from the Mountain (ie around 3 to 4pm). If you were skiing, it was required to pre-book your transfer times in the mornings. The afternoons the shuttle would virtually be waiting for you as you came off the mountain. The longest we waited for a return shuttle was 15 minutes, most days it was only 5 minutes. At night, the shuttle would run you into Main Street, pretty much as you required. They would give you the number to call the driver and they would return to pick you up. The service was entirely free. The hotel is a little over a mile from Main Street and the Chairlift, however, it wasn't a problem with such accommodating drivers running the shuttle service. The Club Lounge was a little hit and miss and definitely not on par with Australian lounges. However, we weren't paying a huge amount to stay here so we can't complain. We had a double Queen Room (typical hotel room style). As we were hardly in the room, except for showering and sleeping, we were comfortable. Bedding and Pillows were all great. I like a bath after a full day of skiing, however our room was shower only. The room was large enough for three people, with three large suitcases and hand luggage. The foyers were lovely with Christmas decor and there is a massive indoor pool area for large groups, which we didn't have time to use. There is also a gymnasium and underground car park. If you are after a luxury stay, this is not the hotel for you. It is comfortable, clean, economical, showcasing a very presentable foyer area, and a club lounge, but it is not a 5 star Sheraton property. If you're after the luxury lodge feel, you would need to look elsewhere, with a much higher spend. Locally, we loved the Grub Steak House, which is around the corner from the Sheraton, and one of the best Steak Houses in Utah. So location wise, the hotel was fine. We were in Park City for 4 days and found the hotel ideal for our needs as a family. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good Location and Service

Jan 5th, 2020

Stayed here on ski vacation. Good location. Easy to drive to slopes. Also a shuttle available. Good breakfast included. Lunch good too. Excellent staff. Many people to help you. Room was comfortable. Nice indoor pool with hot tub and steam room. Apre ski at a heated outdoor seating area. Park City is a fun ski location. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
