We were supposed to spend the night in Budapest along with my partner coming from Croatia by road trip, we had an issue with the car and we couldn’t cross the border. The hotel was not cooperative at all to cancel the booking or amend the date, baring in mind that I am a RADISSON REWARD PLATINUM MEMBER and not reaching the hotel was not under our control. Completely disappointed from the hotel management and this is not the way I am usually treated by the same group. I contacted their customer service and they informed me that the refund is up to the hotel to consider and they never get back to me. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Lovely hotel

I stay here during visiting Budapest for 3 day. Very lovely hotel, clean , staff very kind and breakfast delicious. The location is superb , only 7-10 minute walk to the 24 hour supermarket at the back of the hotel. The supermarket is huge. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Hotel without quality. Or a clue.

Jan 29th, 2020

This hotel is brand new and it forgot the basic idea what a hotel is: a quality experience, a quality bed and a quality shower. I’ve stayed here 3 times in the past year on business trips. If it were up to me, my company wouldn’t mark this as preferred hotel. Not by service, not by experience, not by location (urban area with no entertainment around). Staff is kind but not overly friendly. The hotel is new but materials used are cheap and of low quality. There are scratch marks on every wall in my last room, as are there on the hallways. There are stains on the coffee table. In the rooms are spacious with enough closet space to store items. That is good. There are only three power outlets (desk, bathroom and room entry door just outside the bathroom) non next to the beds. Normal people keep their phone on the nightstand to charge. I wonder how much they saved by not having these built in. And what the thought behind that decision was. There is a power outlet (see picture) in the bathroom. Why so high? I am average height but don’t shave over my head. I don’t see anyone blowdrying their hair using that either. There are no pens in the hotelroom but a pencil. The toilet roll holder just came apart pulling on the toilet roll. Cheap product, no quality. The shower is the cheapest piece of plastic you can find in a DIY Market. Water pressure and temperature are good, that is a plus. And you need that cause the beds are backbreakers. Hard and uncomfortable. Quality of them: non existing. Breakfast is €14 a day and it doesn’t look inviting. Neither does the food. The scrambled eggs were green the last time. The presentation is disorganized and chaotic. I didn’t dare take pictures but someone should. The design of the room is modern with warm colors and natural materials. The carpet looks like a morse code from a distant planet. As does the one in the hallway. But here is the thing with design. If you want to make it work, every bit needs to be facing in the same direction and not like (see picture) is done here. Than you just don’t get it. Because now you make your hotel look like you don’t understand what good organization and quality is. You deliberately make it look like you don’t want to invest in quality or having a thought behind running a proper hotel. Hence the stains and damaged on the walls. Hence the dirty coffee table in my last room. Yes, it’s a 3 star hotel. But a cheap one that deliberately doesn’t want to stand out or show good quality. To emphasis this all, please have a look at the colored stickers in the elevator. Pathetic, really. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
