Honestly it was an amazing resort. There was a lot of kids there, so it more of a family resort. But if you looking to party go to San Lucas, but in San Hose there was a small town and it was so many cute local shops. My sister and I would walk around Los Cabo and it was super safe and fun. They have Uber to go to San Lucas super cheap around $50USD. The staff were super friendly there. The beach was a little too wavy to swim, in January. But if you go to San Lucas and book and excursions they will take you to breathe taking beaches and make sure you book your excursion near the loading bay because it’s a lot cheaper than hotel prices. Ex) hotel was charging us $211 per a person to go on a boat ride to see the Arch and when we went to the loading bay where all the boats were it was $10 a person. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Everything was perfect

May 17th, 2020

My son and I made a quick trip before the resort closed due to the pandemic. There were not many guests there, given the situation, and food options were limited because of that, but it was certainly understandable, and we were not hungry or disappointed. The service was top-notch, and Ventura at the pool made sure my drink was never empty! It was my first time to Cabo, but I would return to the Royal Solaris in a heartbeat! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Unfortunately, I've been to better hotels

May 10th, 2020

Since we arrived on Jan 4th 2020 , there was still Christmas decorations all over the resort which we really didn't like. They were old, faded and ugly. They took it off 3 or 4 days later so we finally got to see the resort to its fullest. I can definitely say it needs to be updated. The lobby is nothing special. Nothing really stands out where you would say "wow". We did love the adult only pool, although the Jacuzzi was very dirty, I even got a rash from it the first time I went in. Sometimes drunk people took over even though its a quiet zone. We got the city view which I absolutely loved! Loved looking at the beautiful houses, buildings and the lively city. Sleeping was sometimes rough. Even if you tried to be quiet on the hallway you can still hear everything inside your room. I don't think the hotel can do anything about that. Stuffing the crack underneath the door with towels did help a bit. Food was meh. We have been to Mexico many times before want was excited to eat the food again. But this place really disappointed. I was very sad to see that there were no beans at all. As we are vegans we were definitely looking forward to that. So honestly it was hard for us to get our protein intake and to even get a good meal at all. As the world is changing so much and a lot of people are becoming vegetarians and vegans they need to take this into consideration. Some people are lactose intolerant and cant have dairy. Non-dairy milk would have been nice at breakfast, or when you want to have a coffee. Also, signs at the buffet stating what is safe to eat for us would be greatly appreciated too. The Italian and Asian restaurant did accommodate us and gave us vegan options which were very delicious. You can go every night as long as you make a reservation with them in the morning. I did like the pizza station (I brought my own vegan cheese) and the snack bar. They also had sushi but it wasn't good. Beach was wavy all week. We went for a walk both ways and it did not disappoint. I absolutely recommend it. It' s very safe and you can take tons of beautiful pictures. Facing the ocean and turning left you will end up at an oasis. Turning and walking right you will get to the beach side mansions on the cliff and a gorgeous beach. We also went on a 4 hr walk in the city. We went through some rough areas but still felt safe. The Coco show was super cute. The rest needs major work. Staff was great. Eduardo at the adult pool is impeccable! He went above and beyond for everyone. Such a beautiful soul. In conclusion if it wasn't for the beautiful surrounding that this resort had we wouldn't have had such a great time. I would not recommend to come here. Try a different resort instead. Best Staff of all hotels

Apr 17th, 2020

Jose Romero is the resort manager and is amazing and full of pride in his hotel, it is clear he loves his job and his staff and all visitors; he is wonderful at what he does. Alberto and Omar from the second you get out of the car make you feel so welcomed. You’re greeted with a big welcome home hug the second they open the car door. Alberto is like a young kid at heart and our son thinks he is the funniest person there. Emmanuel Caberra loves his members and goes above and beyond to make them happy, he had big shoes to fill behind Jose but is doing an amazing job. Armando Flores and Cesar Montes make me and my family feel so welcomed. Armando always makes sure that whatever we need is taken care of and Cesar has gone so far as to get our son a badge with his name on it. He feels so important wearing it. Matias and Martin in the morning dinning always make sure my family is happy and have gone above and beyond to fill special drink and food requests. We are welcomed every morning with a hug and a smile. Guillermo and Roman take pride in the job and making sure the guests are happy. They always make an extra point to ask our little one if he needs water or anything, they are amazing servers. Captain Victor, oh there is so much to say about him. He is an amazing person and takes EXCELLENT care of us. We always do a Family Romantic dinner on the beach and he always makes sure all our special requests are taken care of and takes time to make sure we are happy. The entertainment staff is top notch, we love the shows and the energy the team has. Royal Solaris Los Cabos is literally our home away from home and we can't wait to be back. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Family vacation for a week. Great resort, great crowd and great staff. Kids club was awesome with slides, arts, books, games and staff members there Fernanda, Claudia, Bora,Manuel,Cesar and Hectar were great. They looked after kids inside and outside. We will definitely visit this resort again. Nice restaurants, 2 require dress code and food was great. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
