Outstanding resort - well designed, friendly staff, and very dog friendly!

Jul 6th, 2020

We absolutely loved our stay at Pier B! I wish I could personally thank whoever designed the outdoor space. There are so many areas for groups to gather, from fire pits to sitting areas to tables on the second floor deck. The fun amenities were awesome. We did the pedal carts, bikes, kayaks, indoor pool and outdoor hot tub right on Lake Superior - and that was just the first five hours of our stay! Our kids (10 and 13) loved it too, and it was incredibly dog friendly. We would love to return for a weekend in every season! Special note with covid - we found it very easy to socially distant. The many separated outdoor spaces were amazing and made it very easy to spend time outside with just our group. I can't imagine staying at a different hotel that doesn't have that during this time. I especially loved that we were close to the 2nd floor deck. We almost always took the outdoor stairs there, bypassing the lobby and elevator pretty much our whole stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Accessible, Clean & Modern Accommodations on the North Shore

Jul 3rd, 2020

My husband and used Pier B as our North Shore base, and we enjoyed ourselves. We had read through their commitment to Covid-19 procedures, and we were happy with how clean the accommodations and grounds were. We also appreciated the modern and accessible features that meet my disability needs. I highly recommend it this hotel / resort to others who need wheelchair accessibility and still want to enjoy Duluth's waterfront! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A night at Pier B

Jun 25th, 2020

My wife and I had stayed several nights up on the North Shore. We decided to add a final night in Duluth, and we chose Pier B Resort, as we had known some people who had stayed there and liked it. It is a pricy place. The rooms were nice, but had very little seating space. Although the room was large enough to accommodate two reading chairs, it only had one. Not sure why. The bar in the restaurant did not enforce its own Covid-19 social distancing rules. The night clerk was rather rude. It's a nice place, and things were generally fine, but not worth the price. Decent stay

Too many people fighting for space at the bonfires(as if the 6 ft rule doesn't apply), they charge $15 for cots, my sandwich ordered at their restaurant had mold all over the buns. The location is great and the space is fine though probably not worth the cost. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

beautiful hotel

The location of this hotel is amazing. Beautiful views of the harbor, Bayfront Park and the lift Bridge. Lots of things to do and easily within walking distance of canal park. Silos has amazing food and drinks too. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
