Great Stay!

Nov 14th, 2019

My husband and I stayed here a few weeks ago and had a great time! The inn is so clean and the breakfast was great. We really enjoyed sitting on the beautiful dock in the evening. The owners made us feel very welcomed. We would stay here again! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Honeymoon

Sep 27th, 2019

My fiance reserved 3 nights for us here to stay after we were married in Charleston. We were definitely not disappointed. We were there in midSeptember and my fiance found this place when we were looking into hotels and wedding venues in April. I'm not a fan of hotels because we like to be able to go outdoors and feel the fresh air and all tof "that" which makes me forget that I'm in a "hotel." We stayed in the Plantation Room which is very private. There are at least 3 other areas where you can go and feel like you can hang out and read a book for a while. Then there is the marsh area with so many different birds with other wildlife and marine dwellers we could see from the marsh pier. Actually, I had just completed, "Where the Crawdads Sing" a day or so before and was expecting to see the Marsh Girl herself any minute while taking in this beautiful site that exists only in certain US locations. What a treat. Our hostess greeted us when we arrived and showed us around. She seemed to be there when we needed her and not a constant presence. We were treated like family and enjoyed an amazing breakfast each morning overlooking the marsh and there are several areas in the house for privacy and nature-watching. I really liked the "family" feel which in other settings may have felt a bit "controlled." But not here. We would definitely go back here and are glad we stayed here for part of a very special time in our lives. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Best bed and breakfast I stayed in so far

Jun 27th, 2019

This beautiful serene place is just minutes from Charleston and a great place to relax after doing all tourist spots. The owners are super friendly and the breakfast is superb. The place is ultra clean and well kept in comparison to other places I have stayed, I give it an A+++++ Price is very reasonable and it is very quiet. Bed was very comfy. Loved it!! Very nice

We had a group of 5 couples which plantation oaks accommodated nicely. Each room is very large and each has a private bath. Breakfasts were tasty. Hosts are friendly but not intrusive. It was nice to have room to roam the historic property. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Beautiful Place to Stay

May 4th, 2019

We loved Mount Pleasant. The house and surrounding area is just so peaceful. Steve was very welcoming. All the woodwork and furnishing in the house is warm and inviting. We especially loved the glass enclosed porch overlooking the backyard and marsh while having breakfast. The yard and dock are picture perfect. We stayed in the Plantation Room. It had its own attached bathroom. This room is very large and over looks both the front and back of the house. Lots of antique furniture and a comfy king bed. Steve made a delicious 3 course breakfast both days we were there. He even took a request on my eggs. I would love to stay here again. It was my favorite place and area of our 10 day 6 state trip. I would highly recommend this B&B. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
