Great place to stay

May 25th, 2020

I stayed here in July 2019 for a week and the room was great. It's definitely not something you would get in the diamante area, but it is an excellent location, great views, nice staff, and the restaurants (there ARE two open - one inside and one outside on the way to the beach) were good. GREAT food is just across the street, and it's on the major bus line too. Easy to get anywhere (I recommend Barra de Coyuca, Palao, and going to La Quebrada to see the clavadistas). I didn't experience any of the problems others seem to have had. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The oldest hotel ever

Dec 28th, 2019

The price is very cheap however I recommend to spend a bit more and stay in something better, the hotel has so much potential however is extremely old, it looks like no renovation has been done in decades, everything is falling and cracked and moldish, the food is basic and the same all days, the quesadillas are good... one restaurant was open instead of the two they said, the servers are also sad and not polite with anyone, the beach is crowded and there is just a tiny spot you can use, the front part of the beach is public, they urgently need a renovation. Good points the price of the massage at the spa TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We ended our trip to Mexico by going to Acapulco. We were loking forward to stay a few days relaxing in the hotel. We arrived Friday to complete chaos in the check in area. We got our room and it was in disrepair and dirty. After complaining we got another room with less disrepair but better (still was dirty). Another trip to the front desk to complain and we were met with "all rooms are like that, the only change is the view". We didn't try the restaurant. Staff were friendly but not too accommodating. Pool was nice but in need of an upgrade. This hotel looked geared to the Mexican market not international travellers. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Continual upgrades

The Hotel has the nicest staff. Very accommodating. New actresses in rooms and have heard they will nenovate bathrooms. The Hotel is very busy on weekends with Mexican travelers. Lobby is clean and th3 only complaint I would have is th3 l@ck of good internet service and lack of at least one US channel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
