A gem of a resort and marina.

Love this place, even with the Covid limitations it is still welcoming. Lots of walks and relaxation in a beautiful setting. Excellent staff. Great pub! Decor is a bit worn but clean and well kept up. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Beautiful property but let down by the service

Just returned from a 5-night stay. The positives. The location is stunning. Our cottage included a hot tub and a nice patio for lounging and enjoying the views. The room furniture and bedding were a bit rough around the edges. Most of all were disappointed by the service for this level of accommodation. We left an item on the bedside table after checking out. We called within 1 hour of leaving to nicely ask the front desk to check the room. We were essentially told they were too busy to check and the item was never returned. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Accommodations are very unique with great space and comfort. Staff are very friendly and efficient. Facilities (pools) are great for families. Peaceful location with some nice walks/hikes within close proximity. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Luxury View, not a luxury room
Jul 21st, 2020
The views at Poets Cove are spectacular. Waking up every morning on the large patio overlooking the marina was absolutely amazing. Unfortunately the quality of the room itself didn’t match to the view and lacked luxury touches. The room didn’t have A/C and the portable fan was run down and didn’t work well during the hot summer night. The bed was stiff and uncomfortable. For $300+ per night you’d expect some slippers, some nice Vancouver island soaps and creams, a large TV, great coffee but the room didn’t have these things. The room seemed typical of a Best Western suite than a luxury room. The pools were nice but were pretty busy even though the hotel wasn’t close to capacity. I did love the private tennis court though which was in good shape. It’s hard to recommend a hotel when you wake up hot in the morning and your back aches. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
A good news story....

Up until ten this morning, we were planning on coming to Poets' Cove next week. After Trudeau's press conference, we felt we had to cancel our plans. Poets' Cove cancelled our reservation at no cost to us. This has assured us that our next booking for a holiday will be Poets' Cove. Thank you to the staff and management of the resort. We haven't been there yet, but your actions have said something very great about you. Thank you. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
