New Policy?

Feb 21st, 2020

I will be checking in to Polo Towers tomorrow for a 7 day stay and was just told over the phone that "due to a new policy" my family, who arrives earlier than I do, will not be able to check in without my presence. My mother is 85 and hanging out in the lobby for four hours waiting for me to arrive is NOT the ideal way to start a vacation. I miss the old days when customer service seemed to matter. Bachelorette Party

Feb 19th, 2020

Three of my girlfriends and I recently stayed here in a one-bedroom suite for my bachelorette party. The inside of this hotel is absolutely beautiful and the one-bedroom suite was very spacious! The suite included a kitchen, dinning room, living room with a pull-out sofa, master bedroom with a king-sized bed, and a large bathroom. The only downfalls to the suite were there was only one sink in the bathroom (having double sinks would have been nice, especially when four girls are trying to get ready all at once!) and the pillows were not the comfiest in my opinion. Other than that, the room was fabulous! This hotel would be a great option for families or people who do not want to stay in one of the mega resorts. We did not hang around the hotel very often so I can't say much about the amenities this hotel had to offer. However, there was a nice snack/coffee shop on the main level. One huge plus of this hotel is it is more centrally located on The Strip (directly across from the Cosmopolitan and the Aria resorts). The T-Mobile Arena is very close so this would be a great choice for a hotel if you are going to a hockey game! I would definitely stay here again! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I was fraudulently signed up for a time share presentation, upon check in I was accosted by the concierge, even though I politely explained I had no time or interest in his assistance, but to appease him by saying I would contact him later to discuss. This employee then took the liberty to fill out a form, that I only printed my name at the top of, forged my signature to authorize a charge for this presentation, that I never agreed to. I contacted management, and they still charged my credit card for his fraudulent action. I have now (2weeks later) contacted both my credit card and the police to file a report of fraud. I am disgusted that even after their head office reached out to say they don’t condone employees fraudulent activity, that they refused to rectify the matter, and refund this fraudulent charge! Or make any effort to protect my rights as a customer or human being. This blatant disregard for their customers rights to confidential and proper use of their payment method by committing fraud, has overshadowed anything positive I could say about the resort. Horrified to say the least, that I was criminally violated by being FRAUDULENTLY charged for something I never authorized. Quite frankly I’m terrified they have any my personal information. Thus why I have contacted police. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Well placed comfortable Suite Hotel just off the Strip

Feb 12th, 2020

The mixed reviews did make me wary (especailly as it is a Time Share property) but £55 per night (Expedia with flight from San Diego) was too good to miss. However being set back from the Strip makes it quiet (we had a 5th floor suite) and is well placed next to Planet Hollywood. In my opinion there is no safety issue going from the Strip to the hotel. The check in was quick and easy, the room is enormous with Kitchen, Lounge & bedroom. Kitchen has cooker, coffee maker and full set of cooking utensils. There is a shop on the ground floor and Walgreens is very close. Light touch housekeeping, they leave you alone if you have the privacy sign out, and will revisit on the same day if requested. The do invite you to the desk for an introductory chat. Not pushy for a timeshare presentation. We enjoyed the space and the option to prepare breakfast at the Polo Towers. Beware of the resort fee. I later found out that Vegas.com had a great price on this property. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
