The things listed as available or in room are not what you get. There was no on site laundry, there is a laundry facility across the very busy highway and they do it for you. My dress shrunk. There was no ice maker, no fridge freezer, no blender. We bought an ice chest and had to restock every other day. Comfort is not a word used around there. Everything is rock hard. They need to have some thick cushions or something on the chairs or a couple chairs to sit in to read or watch tv. When they talk about 2 or 3 blocks away they are very large blocks. About a mile for 3 blocks. The place is very pretty though and the garden and pool area are great. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

It is a pretty place the pool area is good. The rooms are nice. The problems are they do not offer things needed for long term stays. They say laundry on site, nope across the street you can take it to a dry cleaners? No ice or ability to make ice. No blenders, no microwave. The chairs inside your room and on the deck are metal and terribly hard. The pool on our side is accessed by going outside the building around to a gate and then in. I was locked out of building entirely once because of only getting one set of keys. So if traveling with someone you must leave at the same time....the Ocean is 2 mexican blocks which is approx 6 real blocks. I booked through an air b&b and tried to send a review over and over was unable to due to site problems. I will not go back TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We had a lovely ladies at reception stay up late for us (until 11.45 pm) as the reception shuts at 10 pm and our flight was delayed. We were very grateful! We were there in low seasson. Clean rooms renewed with mexican decoration paintings from cental Mexco, our room had 2 beds (1 king and one twin bed) air conditioning, big flat tv and blu-ray a small kitchen 5 dishes 4 glasses 2 pans 4 cups a corkscrew 4 forks 2 spoons one bottle of pepper and a kit of tasty coffee from Oaxaca and a private large patio too. Good value for the money. Preatty close to the beach. Our room was a little dark but had good ventilation. We stayed 4 nights and generally very happy with the hotel. Central courtyard is nice with a nice pool good place to rela x and chat with fellow travellers. Good shower with plenty of hot water. Nice and quiet hotel. Wifi was ok. The young ladies who work behind the desk were really sweet and kind. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Private, roomy

Only 8 guest rooms, so the place was relatively quiet while we were there. The garden is absolutely beautiful. The rooms are good as well, but the bed is hard as a rock. I have heard that is how all beds in Mexico are, though. Transportation to and from the hotel can be difficult. The walk to town is pretty far--rent a car. We had a scooter and it was downright dangerous. The desk person did not speak English at all, but she more than made up for it in her kindness and willingness to try and to help us out. If you take the bus from the airport, be warned that the bus driver will probably cruise right past this hotel--they don't seem to know the name. In hindsight, I would rent a car right at the airport and skip the bus/shuttle situation if you stay at this hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
