Amazing welcome, attention paid to details, AMAZING breakfast, flexible hosting...i can't say enough good things about this establishment! The photos published don't do it justice... it looked even more modern, romantic, clean and pretty IRL. Would definitely go back in a heartbeat. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Winter Getaway

Mar 1st, 2020

I was looking for a little getaway for my husbands birthday. Not a hotel. The Post House Inn came highly recommended. Jason and Dani were amazing hosts. The breakfast was fresh with lots of options. The presentation amazing. No detail left. The all day drinks and snacks a lovely touch. The house was clean, warm and very welcoming. We will definitely return. All the rooms are lovely. It’s so hard to choose. Darren and Denise TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Will return post haste to the Post House

Feb 17th, 2020

Walk through the doors of this historic post office building and you'll be transported into an oasis of comfort, style, and pampering. The inn boasts an eclectic mix of unique art pieces, sumptuous furnishings, an incredible library of classics, and historical artifacts true to the time period of the building and its former use. We were met the moment we pulled up and assisted with our bags by Jason, the innkeeper. Upon entering, we met Dani - Jason's wife - and got a personal tour of the property and its amenities. Our room was the Victoria Suite; I won't describe as you can view on the website and here. But I will say that we loved hanging out and relaxing there, and we lacked for nothing. I am still attempting to identify a few of the Victorias in the photos on the wall, however; my google-fu is failing me! The breakfast spread could not have been more to our liking. We enjoyed avocado toast with poached eggs, baked oatmeal with creme Anglaise, bagels and lox with all the trimmings, eggs, bacon, fruit, and more! The coffee was superb, and snacks were available for late-night munchies. But best of all was the daily opportunity to visit and chat with Jason and Dani. Not only did we discuss topics of travel, fashion, TV, movies, and (gasp) politics, we got great advice on wineries, restaurants, and attractions. We felt completely welcomed, and we cannot wait to return. Highly recommend the inn (but not too highly; we want to be able to book a room before our preferred dates are sold out again!). Best overnight!!

Feb 15th, 2020

I planned an early Valentines getaway for my husband 2/4/20-2/5/20 (tues-wed) as a surprise. We have 2 young toddlers we needed some brief reprieve from 😁. I didn’t want to do a hotel (most of them seem outdated and overpriced) and went on trip advisor to look for bed and breakfasts...I stumbled upon The Post Inn and all the fantastic reviews and was hooked. I called to discuss what room might be the most appropriate and Josh was extremely friendly and helpful. I knew right away I wanted to book. The Historic Inn was a treasure. The decor was pop art mixed with classic and it worked! My favorite framed piece was the queen blowing a big bubble with her bubble gum, dressed to the 9s. Lol Dani was warm and welcoming upon checking in, everything went smoothly and easy. Both Dani and Josh were fun to talk with and were easily available for any questions we had while staying there. NOTL in mid Feb was dead, so we had the whole town (and Inn) to ourselves to shop, eat, drink and wander without lines or crowds! We stayed in the largest suite which had a king sized bed, jacuzzi tub, adjoining living room with fireplace that had doors that exited to the back yard/large pool area (perfect for summer stay!) and it was so bright and airy feeling. You might think of an old building (1830s) to be drafty or on the cold side, but it’s perfectly comfortable and the fireplace in the side living room will heat the whole suite. Very clean, stylish, comfortable & effortless! The breakfast the next morning was filled with variety and Dani offered to make anything upon special request (I.e. waffles, eggs benedict, etc). In addition to what was set out already= Croissants, fruit, juices, bagels with all the toppings, cereal, coffee, tea etc! Available anytime throughout the day were cookies, candy, coffee/tea station . Oh, and I forgot to mention the security of the inn and the rooms individually is all digital via keypad. My husband was impressed and enjoyed every minute of it! We will be back for sure. Thank you Dani and Josh for a fun and delightful very short stay 👍🏻👍🏻 TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Perfect location in Niagara on the lake. The room has such warmth and was very clean with everything you would need. The breakfast was amazing with a ton of selection of foods plus snacks available all day. The breakfast room was my favorite! Jason and Dani were very warm and welcoming. Perfect place to stay!
