Party hotel- not for families or anyone looking for peace and quiet

Mobs of people at the tiki bar, on the beach, and in the pool- NOT HOTEL GUESTS!! Group after group, hundreds upon hundreds, came through the courtyard to party at the tiki bar. and hang out on the beach. We couldn't even get to the bar for a drink. We had to weave through the crowds to get to the beach. We love a good party but this was ridiculous! Crazy loud music, fights at the bar, garbage on the ground everywhere, and the pool bathrooms were beyond disgusting. This partying went on until very late each night and we hardly slept. The room was filthy and needed major updating! Peeling paint, a moldy tub, badly chipped furniture. Our feet were black from walking shoeless in our room. The hallways were piled with dirty towels and bags of garbage as the staff said to leave these items outside the door since Covid has restricted daily room cleaning. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ON THIS HORRIBLE PLACE. YOU WILL BE TERRIBLY DISAPPOINTED. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Nothing like advertised

This place is 2 star motel trying to pass as a boutique beach get-away. The experience started with checking in over 3 hours late due to waiting on a room (compensated with drink tickets after I asked multiple times what was going on).The staff was very unhelpful, the rooms where not that clean, water pressure was very poor, and the atmosphere was a complete lie. The hotel makes itself appear to be a boutique peaceful spot. In reality it was more like a frat party on the beach. At the end of all this, it took 45 mins to check out with only 3 people ahead of me. In the end I would not go anywhere near this place! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Less than stellar

Postcard inn... hmm nice 2-3 star hotel I suppose. Our room had hair (not ours) and multiple on the shower wall. There were remnants of a party in our room(ballon tails and duck tape) on the ceiling. The front door sweep was half missing.. making me very concerned for bugs entering. It was dated and overall did not appear clean. The hotel oddly charges a resort fee(for what Im not sure) but also charges for chairs and umbrellas on the beach. Wouldnt stay here again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Awesome laid back beach vacation

Quaint, charming, clean vintage motel on the beach. There were young couples, older couples, singles, families, something for everyone here. Staff is super accommodating. Pam ran the breakfast bar like a champ. Music by the pool... just really relaxing and fun. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

If you like MTV Spring Break, traveling with large barking dogs, coolers of beer and ?, live and DJ music outside of your room until 11:00 pm, traveling to make a love connection, this place is for you. Otherwise...just don't. These all would be non-issues if this hotel advertised themselves as a 1980's Spring Break hotel. We did not pick up on this vibe from Postcard Inn's web site. Other thoughts include: no written reservation confirmation provided. This translated to a room rate different from the advertised rate at the time we made our reservation (we paid more). We were also charged $50/night for incidentals which we didn't use or purchase. We were told the incidentals would be removed from our credit card withing a few days and this is standard Postcard Inn policy. We'll see... TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
