Best Resort Stay Ever!!!

Nov 27th, 2019

We stayed in the Pinnacle Cottages, the room was clean and well laid out. My wife loved the tub and the way it was next to a big window so she could enjoy the view while she relaxed in it. We eat in Elements for a romantic dinner and then had a cocktail and duck poutine in the Pub before going back to the room. All of the food was amazing and the service in both restaurants was top notch. Big shout out to Bennet and Amber in Elements and Toni and Adam in the 19th Pub. We went back to Elements in the morning for breakfast where my wife enjoyed what she called the best bagel she has ever eaten. I had the buffet and a fresh made omelet, thank you Dalton. Then we went and shot clays and rode RTVs. Both were amazing experiences and our guides were great. My wifes first time shooting and our guide Billy did a great job coaching her. Then Noel took us on a fun and muddly RTV ride. Couldn't have asked for a better couple of days. I highly recomend Primland Resort to anyone who will listen. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Amazing Experience!

Nov 12th, 2019

This was by far one of the most enjoyable experience my wife and I have ever had. It was our 10 year wedding anniversary and heard through a friend about Primland. As soon as you arrive you are greeted by an amazing staff and the most beautiful resort I have ever seen. Every accommodation was first class, from the soap in the room to the ranges. My wife and I participated in several activities at the resort and every one of them is amazing. We went horseback riding through the beautiful mountainside, shot skeet at an amazing range, with a guide who was very friendly and accommodating. The only negative thing I have to say about Primland was the Chef's table. The food was not enjoyable and some of the food was undercooked. It was expensive and for the price was not worth it at all. The food at the 19th Pub was amazing though. The Apple Pie Moonshine wings were delicious and we got them every time we went into the restaurant. We stayed in the Pinnacle Suites and the room was 1st class and the view was amazing. The golf course is also amazing. It is challenging, but there are breathtaking views and the staff were great. This is a perfect get away, and was so enjoyable I would drive the 3.5 hours from where I live just to spend the day there! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Struggles in going above and beyond

Nov 11th, 2019

Spent over $1000 for a one night stay and left somewhat disappointed. The property is beautiful and extremely well appointed. However, I was celebrating a special occasion and expected the hotel to provide special attention across all points of service. There was no welcome amenity in room or at check in, no preferential seating at Elements and no special dessert with candle, no greeting card even if slid under the door as an afterthought. The spa service was great the first day, and indifferent on the second day... they would not give us a locker or robe/slippers to use the pool because they were "fully committed" but yet there were no other guests around. Upon checking out, we weren't offered bottles of water to take on the road (had to ask for it). At the price point that Primland is in, the staff needs more training to better anticipate guest needs without forced interactions, and more coordination is needed across all points of service to ensure special occasions are not only acknowledged but also celebrated. It would also be more valuable to guests if they joined a program like Hyatt's Small Luxury Hotels of the World, or Marriott's Luxury Collection or Tribute Portfolio. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great place for a special occasion

Amazing and so relaxing. Beautiful views, kind and courteous staff, upscale accommodations. The rooms are very nice and every small detail is addressed. Pricy but worth it for a special occasion. The food is very good at elements and the 19th pub. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Worth every penny!

Treehouse experience is unforgettable! It was worth it to us to pay a bit more to have the breathtaking views in the Cooper Hawk treehouse. Beautiful resort! Friendly staff! Plenty to do and see.100% recommend to anyone wanting a quiet getaway with plenty to do. Also recommned nearby town of Floyd - the sipping chocolate and friendly people were amazing!
