Marriott Great as Always
Feb 15th, 2020
Just checked into the Providence Marriott at Orms St. Andrew Russo who checked me in was very attentive, went out of his way to ensure we had a great stay and represented Marriott in a positive and upbeat way. Another example of the great employees at Marriott. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I stay regularly at this hotel due to work travel and have always had a GREAT experience. Even made this hotel a project preferred hotel and all my team members love it there. Great staff - from their Sales Representative Caroline to front desk folks Dannica, Caren, Hafez and at the restaurant staff Yissell and Kelly. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Excellent hotel and staff!!!

My husband and I stayed here this weekend for his birthday. Dannica at the front desk was so warm and welcoming, and she even went up bday cake for my husband! She was so accommodating and helpful. Mario was also very helpful in how we should navigate around town. He was very knowledgeable about the area and how we should get around. The next morning we had a delicious buffet breakfast courtesy of the staff. This hotel exceeded our expectations and it made for a wonderful birthday weekend. We will definitely stay here again! Sweetest & Kindest!

We stayed here last night. We visited friends in town and decided to stay for the night. I don’t travel that much but one thing for sure, Dannica at front desk was the sweetest and kindest receptionist. She was very helpful and professional from check in to check out. I couldn’t brag more about how nice she is. We will definitely stay here again. The room was also beautiful. 👏🏻 TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Do not stay in building C - construction
Jan 31st, 2020
I was in Providence for one night for business. I was given a room on the second floor in building C. I was told that there was some construction, but it would not affect me. The hotel is large, so the rooms require a short walk to get to from the lobby. When I arrived at my room the thick window shades were pulled. I opened it to find storage containers, building materials and workers right outside my window. They were working all afternoon (not very pleasant when you are in town working). They were at it again before 7am the next morning. Additionally, because of the work, workers were accessing the hotel floors throughout the day with no security that I saw. My room in building C was dark and dated and definitely needs some work. We held a business meeting last night in the Angell Room, which was a nice, comfortable meeting room. Proximity to downtown Providence is good. I recommend using the hotel shuttle, as parking is tough downtown. Large restaurant/bar and cafe available in the lobby. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
