Cozy, safe, great location, warm & authentic

Jul 12th, 2019

I chose Pueblo Bonito because of its ideal location and its authenticity. I stayed in the Santa Ana room, which was clean, quiet and relaxing with beautiful historical furnishings. The daily breakfast was a nice way to start the day and get questions answered regarding your visit. I'm so happy to have chosen this inn and highly recommend it to anyone planning a trip to Santa Fe. Many thanks to Amy and Herb who were absolutely wonderful! -Loren TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great location, very nice, pleasant staff

Jul 8th, 2019

My husband and I took a last minute trip to Santa Fe. Based on the reviews we were happy to snag their last room for the 4th of July weekend. We arrived late, but they had our keys and room information attached to the main office door. They had also turned on our room lights and a/c making for a pleasant experience when we arrived. The service was outstanding, the property was well maintained and very pretty, but everything else did not hit expectations. The room was not configured well to maximize space. There was a lot of unused, wasted space and the layout was uncomfortable for sleeping. The top of the queen bed butted up against the window A/C, meaning you could not lean up against it and it blew directly on your head as you slept. The fireplace butted up against the bottom of the bed and there was a 2-3 inch ledge that you had to be very careful moving over or you could easily trip. The bathroom was the worst. You have to walk through this large, open closet like (changing room) area to get to the dingy bathroom. Everything in the bathroom was shoved into a small closet area. With plenty of unused space in that changing room (which seemed larger than the closet bathroom) it doesn't make sense to have such a crummy bathroom space. And the tub/shower basin was poorly constructed with uneven tiles. If you wanted to take a bath, it would have been most uncomfortable. Further, not sure why they provided a shower mat as it would not stick to the uneven tiles. The other part of a B&B is the breakfast. We have stayed at many B&Bs and were surprised at how poorly this one was put together. It was more like a continental breakfast and two crock pots of NM dishes on the side. I would not have been surprised if they had stopped by the grocery store on the way to work that morning and picked up some fruit, Dannon yogurt, pastries, etc. Did not meet expectations of one of the top rated B&Bs Santa Fe. Perfect accommodations for a stay in Santa Fe

Jun 28th, 2019

My mother and I stayed at the inn during our visit to Santa Fe last week. We were very pleased with our stay. The owner, Amy, greeted us upon arrival and gave us a tour of the property and spoke about its history. She was also extremely helpful in recommendations for local restaurants, galleries, and other activities. We found our accommodations, the San Ildefonso suite, just right - comfortable, spacious, and decorated with fun local touches. The suite was a clean and cool refuge on warm afternoons. We also enjoyed sitting out on our private patio during the evenings. The inn has a perfect location within easy walking distance of the downtown Plaza and other attractions. A couple of main thoroughfares are also easily accessible, so it was simple to get to attractions in other areas of the city. Finally, the Pueblo Bonito breakfasts are wonderful! Fresh fruit, a variety of breads, and traditional breakfast items such as yogurt or cereals, are accompanied by delicious handmade tamales and green chili/chicken stew. We'd happily recommend this inn, and hope to return some day! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good enough B & B

Jun 25th, 2019

Our room was nicely furnished and large. While the B & B had many rooms, it was a quiet place and convenient for walking to the main area of Santa Fe. The lighting was good. The breakfasts were served buffet style and there was plenty of food. But the meal was not a gourmet treat. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Class, Charm, Location, Location

The Pueblo Bonito Bed and Breakfast Inn is located in Santa Fe's historic downtown district. It’s a short 5-minute walk to the plaza, and we could not have asked for a nicer or friendlier place to stay. From the moment we arrived, Kotsy greeted us, and immediately made us feel at home. She gave us a long list of sights and restaurants, and all within walking distance. (our car never moved for 3 days - lol) At breakfast the following morning, we met the Inn Keepers, Amy & Herb who are unbelievable hosts! Breakfast was an abundant spread, that also included 2 very popular local items - Green Chili Stew, and Tamales – amazing. We originally planned to stay for 2 days, but we were so happy at Pueblo Bonito Bed and Breakfast, and with luck, we were able to extended an additional 2 days. We stayed in the Santa Clara – Room 3 the first 2 nights, and then we when we extended, we had the honor of staying in San Felipe – Room 7. Pueblo Bonito Bed and Breakfast is a block away from the State capital, which has an incredible art collection. We never would have known about it, if it hadn’t been for Kotsy, Amy and Herb – it’s 4 stories high, a must see art collection. The Pueblo Bonito Bed and Breakfast will defiantly be on our revisit schedule, we highly recommend !!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
