Very good

Jul 13th, 2019

Very good hotel and room is very spacious and modern WiFi is fast and what I didn't like was that the A/C was 2 cold and I was not able to set it to needed temperature otherwise the room was great A plus to the management that there was an iron in the room which is almost lacking from other hotels I stayed before Breakfast was decent enough but it could be more varied but the staff was very nice and friendly and helpful. Stranded

Jul 13th, 2019

Stayed at the Pullman Brussels Centre Midi Hotel when my friend and I missed our train back to Paris. We were only in Brussels for a day trip (we were visiting France from the USA) and it happened to coincide with the team introductions for the Tour de France. With the late sunset and the festivities we lost track of time and when we arrived at the train station the train was full and pulling out 10 minutes early. Luckily, the Pullman, located in the train station, had rooms available. And toothbrushes! The staff kindly charged my friend's iphone for her and did what they could to make our stay as comfortable as possible. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were clean and well appointed. I would definately recommend this hotel for it's services and its convenient location. We walked from the historical area of Brussels to the train station easily. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Comfortable rooms, long waits at reception

Jul 13th, 2019

The rooms were nice, although not very large. I was on the 8th floor so had a very nice view of Brussels. The blackout curtains work pretty well, although it might not be enough for people who need cavelike surroundings to sleep. The only real problem was how long I had to wait at checkout and when I picked up my bag later in the day. Worse yet, during the 10 minutes I was made to wait to ask for my bag, I could hear other staff in the office chatting away. Thankfully I wasn’t rushing to catch a train, because I’d have been in real trouble. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Give this one a miss

Over priced !! Undocumented / illegal cleaning personnel !! My makeup used plus a bottle of Channel # 5 missing. Reported to Management and to-date no feedback or inquiry received. Cannot believe a hotel group would but guests at risk by employing personnel who are illegal in the country !!!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Convenient to trains and airport

Jul 10th, 2019

We stayed here for 3 nights and booked two rooms. The hotel is easily reached from the airport by train, once at Midi/Zuid station, it is only a 5min walk. The check in process was efficient, although note that if you pay extra to have the room available earlier, this is not guaranteed. We arrived at the hotel just after 8am and only one room was available. (We were not charged early check in for the second room). We booked two classic rooms, these are the entry level rooms. The bare basics are there - hairdryer, toiletries and enough tea and coffee for two serves/2 people. It has adequate space for one small or medium sized suitcase. For us it was a little small because we each had medium-large suitcases. So the second suit case had to be placed on the bench-sofa. The immediate area around the hotel and station is a bit drab. You need to walk 20mins north to reach the centre. We did not have breakfast in the hotel but found a couple of great places for breakfast (see other reviews). If you want to buy drinks or snacks for the room and the fridge, there is a minimart in the station. We enjoyed the ease of access to trains for the airport and for a Brugge day trip.
