Falling to bits, no heating!

1st room the bathroom door was broken, we called reception twice to request a repair no one came. On going down to reception, receptionist was chatting to the bar staff whilst customers waited! Asked for a new room, after initially refusing the receptionist moved us to a another room. On returning from a meal out the 'new' room was freezing. Staff wouldn't believe heating was broken, sarcastic duty manager finally brought a portable heater. We left hotel without breakfast the following morning and at checkout the receptionist didn't enquire as to the stay only 'all paid, nothing to add, bye'. I complained by email to the Duty Manager the following day and was palmed off without an explanation, apology with a pointless 'points' offer I'll never use at another Pullman. I've also posted a review on Google, the General Manager has responded claiming he'll be in touch, I've not heard from him! Hotel claims to have parking, that's why I'd chosen it, but on arrival it turns out it doesn't! The nearest secure parking is at Q by John Lewis's. All in all little better than an Ibis or Travelodge but with a trendy bar and no crisp machine!! Best avoided. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Fab hotel

We have stayed at the Pullman Liverpool several times and it never disappoints. Amazing quality throughout great staff and service. We alway try for the corner rooms 740 this time which gives amazing views of the city and Mersey great shower great everything TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Maintenance requests ignored

I stayed for two nights in Pullman Liverpool. Our shower wasn’t draining properly, leaving the bathroom floor covered in water, and had to use towels to mop it up. We mentioned this twice to the front desk but they didn’t do anything about the drain and didn’t come to replace our towels. I left the sign on the door saying ‘please make up our room’ but when I got back it had been turned around to display ‘do not disturb’, so our room was not made up. On check out I explained the problems and the manager was apologetic and offered an upgrade next time... this offer came after I said I would not be coming back. The manager did some investigation and found that they had gone and checked a shower in the wrong room, and then seemed to hint that I had given them the wrong room number, even though when I made the complaint I did it with the room number written on the key card holder. Otherwise, rooms nice, comfy beds and good location. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Amazing stay

Stayed here for 1 night with my girlfriend for a night away, had an extremely warm welcome from the lovely staff, very well priced for the quality, room was clean and the bathroom was beautiful, would definitely be back. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Fabulous hotel with super friendly staff

Our stay at the Pullman in Liverpool was first class. From the moment we arrived we were welcomed into the hotel by the friendly staff. A special mention to Mark who helped us find a hotel to stay in when we were stranded in Liverpool for the night due to the bad weather (since the Pullman had no rooms left that night). I couldn't find a single fault with this hotel - one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. I would highly recommend staying here when visiting Liverpool. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
