The Lyric is THE best place to stay

Dec 7th, 2019

I can’t imagine a better place to stay Thanksgiving week in NYC! It offered all the amenities imagined and more! Having the full Kitchen available to cook a few family traditions along with the city market grocery, Crown Shy restaurant and Black Fox Coffee shop was the cherry on top! We will be staying at the Lyric for all NY trips in the future! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Sometimes you just make a mistake

Dec 6th, 2019

I was in NYC on business and booked my room at Lyric ,70 Pine street on line a very easy process. When I went to check in I had only booked for one night , I thought I had booked two nights. The hotel was full and I was not sure where I was going to stay on the next night. Understanding my dilemma, the staff moved some things around and were accommodate me. No questions asked they were very polite and professional explaining all the new amenities of the hotel. I would highly recommend Lyric to anyone I town on business or pleasure. In the beginning, it was better

Dec 6th, 2019

During our last stay, the level of service worsened. - WiFi: it’s easier to say that it didn't continuously work than vice versa - Lighting: There is not enough lighting in the room. Previous times we had a room on high floors, perhaps there is more light penetrating through the windows. Now, on the third floor, the lighting was very lacking. Need to add some floor lights. - Housekeeping: No one comes until you call yourself; we threw out the trash on our own. But, on the day of departure, the cleaning lady, from 8 a.m., repeatedly knocked on the door (not only for us but also for our neighbors) and went further down the corridor. We like your hotel, but these little things are very unpleasant. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Thanksgiving Week at the Lyric New York

Dec 5th, 2019

My family of 2 adults and 2 teens stayed in a 2bed/2bath suite at the Lyric on Pine Street near Wall Street instead of taking our chances in an unknown Airbnb. What a great decision we made! On previous trips we always stayed midtown or Soho which can be noisy at night but this location is super quiet so everyone was well rested. The Wall Street subway is opposite and several other subway stations are close by so you are well connected to the rest of Manhattan. Only 10 minutes to Union Square and 20 minutes to Midtown. A really well stocked supermarket is downstairs open until midnight, coffee shop, restaurants, pharmacy and liquor store are also close by. The Suite was well appointed with super comfy beds, a very well equipped kitchen, comfy lounge and plenty of closet space. Washer/drier and dishwasher made our stay so easy. There is also an excellent gym downstairs. We will definitely be staying at the Lyric on Pine during our next visit to NY in 2020. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

So much room

Dec 5th, 2019

Our room was perfect. We had the 1 room plus 2 bath. We had our adult son with us and only stayed one night. There was so much space. They made up the pull out couch for my son and it was great for one night. We each had our own full bathroom to get ready in the morning. It had a full kitchen which would have been wonderful if we were staying longer. We enjoyed the turntable in the room. The space was incredible for Nyc. Would be great for an extended stay.
