This is a very unethical entity to do business with so beware. Here is the background for my low review. I had made reservations for 6 rooms for this last May 12th. I did not realize these were guaranteed reservations at the time or I would have called and cancelled. This was for my wife and I and 5 other Navy buddies and wives to have a mini reunion. As the whole country was shut down for travel at this time due to COVID we canceled all plans and all stated home. I figured there was no need to call as this was at the peak of the pandemic and quarantine restrictions were in place. I thought nothing more about it until I received my credit card statement and saw a charge from Creekside Inn for $385.12 for the rooms. After many attempts to get someone on the phone I was finally able to talk to someone at the desk. I explained what had happened and stated I shared some responsibility but asked to discuss some reasonable settlement via reduction in these charges. My message and number were taken and I was told someone would call me back but that never happened. I waited a week and called back again. I was given another number to call and a specific person to ask for. I have tried this for two weeks and this person is never available. I am going to try one more time to reach this person. If they are still unavailable I will be writing a letter to the owners of the location and sending copies to the Gatlinburg Better Business Bureau, Chamber of Commerce and Quality Inn Corporation. I started out trying to be fair and reasonable but have received no effort from the other side. If you are considering staying here you might want to know the type of people you’re dealing with. Worst service ever experienced

Please! Stay away. I never had such poor service from the lady at front desk. Not worth the time or money. No mangers present. They don’t even answer phone. I do a lot of traveling. I book on booking.com. Reserved a room for a set amount. Even had a confirmation. The kart at front desk wanted to charge me 24$ more than my confirmation. Said she could not change price. I even showed her my confirmation. Any other place would have adjusted the price. She refused than told me I had two options ! Cancel or pay. At that point I was already billed. I canceled but my money is on hold. She said no manager was present to talk to. I have called back over and over and no manager. I am glad we did not stay because I found pics of how dirty the place was. It is a dump. Stay away TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We reserved room by choice.com on Tue before stay on Sat. We got a discount because we are Farm Bureau Insurance customers. Family and I arrived about 7:00pm. We just got thru driving 6+ hours. I waited in line outside due to covid and 6 foot apart suggestions. Well I advised nice gentleman my name and had my reservation pulled up on my phone. He advised that the motel was overbooked for the night. I advised we had the reservations thru choice since Tue. He vented about choice over books them not taking into consideration if they have to take a room out of commission for various reasons. He also vented he would have to call other customers to tell them they didn’t have a room. I asked what kind of room we where getting. He was kind and said here is a key go look first. Well I went pulled covers back, moved the mattresses to look between them, looked behind pictures, turned on microwave, refrigerator was cold and air was awesome. What could I have missed?🤣 I missed flushing the toilet and turning on the tv!! We plunged everyday we were there. The first night the one we paid $146 for with a tv and remote that didn’t work. Waited around the first night before we could go get supper to try to remedy some of these things but no tv till Sunday. Oh and we had to go get key programmed every night just to get into room. They don’t clean due to covid so you have to get towels everyday and take out the trash. That didn’t bother is much because we dont like people in the room. What really bothers me is wasted time on things that shouldn’t be a problem. The beds and pillows slept great. There was plenty of hot water with good pressure. The location was nice and quiet. We stayed in room 214. I would call ahead of arrival to make sure your reservation is secure. They have coffee but no breakfast at this time. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Gone downhill with new ownership

Check-in very slow (nobody was ahead of us, clerk just took his time). We planned our arrival to watch a live sports event, and got to room just in time to watch it and TV did not work. Someone was sent to fix TV but he did not speak English nor was he able to repair the TV. I called the same front desk clerk who promised to come help. After 25 minutes of nothing I returned to the office (two elevators and two buildings away) and same slow clerk was irritated that I still expected our TV to be fixed. He complained saying "I'm frustrated too, I haven't had time for lunch". Parking lot in upper building has extremely bright lights shining right into the windows of the upper floor rooms, which have no black-out curtains on balcony doors. Pool was still not open and one employee told us they may keep it closed all summer due to COVID (even though other pools in town were already open). Yet another cost-cutting measure by new owner. After check-out discovered that we were charged a "safe fee" (safe was not even operable) and a "resort fee" ("resort" - HA!), neither of which we were told about at check-in. This property has gone waaay downhill since being purchased by the Patels. Staff is unfriendly. Previous owners and staff were excellent, but they've been gone a year or so now. This used to be our primary place in Gatlinburg... not anymore. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Beautiful view from balcony!

This hotel is an older property and does need updated. That being said, the staff were very friendly and very accommodating. The balcony is nice to have and very relaxing to sit out and listen to the river run through. For the price I paid, I feel the value was decent. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
