Nice place

This hotel has recently been remodeled and a nice looking rooms with upgraded flooring and new painted walls. Very quiet hotel and a good place to stay for traveling nurses and night shift workers. I would definitely recommend TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Very Nice!

Stayed here one night before flying home from the last cruise for awhile! (March 15, 2020) Room VERY affordable, comfortable bed with TV, Ironing board & iron, fridge, tub & shower combo, separate sink area and great access to power on the desk. There is a coin laundry and small gym on the 3rd floor. Elliptical, bike, treadmill. Very adequate for me. Also great breakfast in the am. Realize that it’s called AIRPORT Quality inn for a reason - planes will be flying over. Unless you are a light sleeper, you will likely be ok. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Worst Hotel Experience Hands Down

Overall, we're pretty easy going people, but this hotel was the worst we've ever been to. After our flight was delayed by 6 hours, we called to confirm we would get a shuttle. They told us they usually don't have shuttles after midnight, but they would make an exception. Once we landed at 4:15 AM, we called to verify they would pick us up and were told there would be a shuttle every hour, so we would have to wait until 5:00. At 5:30 I called to check and they told us we must have missed the van. He assured me that the next van came at 6 and there was only one pickup location. After being told different stories, we decided to take a cab. Once we got to the hotel, there was a sign explaining pick up was on a different floor, but not one of the four employees we spoke with shared that information. We then asked if there was a shuttle to take us to the ports for cruises. He said yes, gave us our key, and no other information. When we got up, we asked at the front desk where to go for the shuttle. She told us we were supposed to sign up for the shuttle, but the manager the night before never told us that. The shuttle was meant to leave at 12:30, but as it got close to 12:45, we went outside. The driver came to us and yelled that they were looking everywhere for us. We knew we would be tipping our driver as well, but didn't appreciate him getting in our faces and ranting about how we were expected to tip him. I would highly recommend choosing any other place you can. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

All Linen and bedding awful and need replacing...

One thing in my opinion that should never let a hotel down is clean bedding, pillows and towels. It’s the main thing a person needs when staying in a hotel is a clean and good nights sleep, even if other areas may lack. The bedding and towels here are grey and stained. The pillows smell so bad of people’s body odours, head grease, sweat etc just musty and lumpy...awful!! We were told our room was an updated one...I can’t imagine the others and as I’ve already said, before you put some Grey faux laminate flooring down and call it updated, get your linens sorted first! The traffic and plane noise is bad if your looking for a good nights sleep and breakfast finishes by 9am which I didn’t see due to the lack of sleep. We were given a room not only on the main road side but at the start of the corridor where the lift and exit doors are so allllll night and morning people are constantly banging this open and closed. Asked to move on arrival, told no other rooms. Add the extra £20-30 and head to at least 3 more local better hotels, wish we did but considering was only one night we didn’t think it could be that bad, wrong!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Poor Shuttle Service & More

We waited 1 hr and 20 minutes for the free shuttle to pick us up at the airport. We then had to pay $30 for a taxi to the hotel. When we checked in at 3:30 pm our room was not ready and had to wait yet another hour to check in. When we checked out, I asked for credit for the taxi. The attendant said that she was not authorized to refund us, but instead gave us a manager's card to approve the credit. I have written 2 emails within the week and received absolutely no response. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
