Traveling for work out of town
Nov 20th, 2019
I enjoyed staying here during the week while traveling for work out of town for several months. Recently, they ran out of breakfast items like peanut butter packets and never replaced them. Then they removed a popular TV station and many of the stations now say Analog. I overlooked other things because they didn't happen all the time but with these latest changes, I'm hoping to find another hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
2nd tome very disappointing

We stayed here a few months ago and it was a nice stay. Nice bed. Nice staff. Nice room. So we decided to come back. The guy who checked us in was great. Room was clean and spacious and then the beds. You can feel the springs in the beds. Called front desk. Different person who seemed to care less. No customer service what-so-ever. Will never come back here again! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Need a better overnight stop-over
Jun 26th, 2019
Well we drove down to DC, after work, and decided to stop in Laurel for the night. We stopped in the Quality Inn because we had good experiences with the chain group before when on the road. The building looked OK from the outside, and it was well situated in Old Laurel. Lots of taco and tex-mex joints nearby. The front desk people were very friendly, the rate was good, so we decided to stay there. Once we got to the floor with our room, we realized the need for some maintenance. The hallways were dingy. One of the rooms appeared to have had the door "kicked-in" with the lock area destroyed with the door area splintered. This created some angst. The door was closed with wire looped through the opening but ajar. The rooms were also dingy. The TV was a generation old, had incredibly poor reception, no channel guide, and no channel labels, making "surfing" very old, very fast. The breakfast was worth passing up. Yet another issue was the $50 (returnable) deposit; why?, after all I paid with a credit card. Why do they get to hold this money when the credit card works well for post-hoc damage. Needless to say, we don't expect to stop here again. While we rarely use vending machines, it was not an option as they were out of order. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

An excellent and very hospitable hotel. Everyone on staff was friendly and courteous, especially hotel front desk manager Lindsey. She showed true leadership skills, and her staff love and followed her authority to provide outstanding experience. Great job Lindsey! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
No hot water for shower, no maid service
May 17th, 2019
We were in a no smoking room, but when we got off the elevator, the hall smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The bathroom always smelled like cigarette smoke; it seemed to be coming in through the vent. When we checked in, they gave us a room already occupied by another guest, so we had to go back to the front desk for another room. When we came back to our room on the 2nd day and saw there had been no maid service, we called the front desk. They said the maids did not service rooms if guests were staying more than 1 night. When we woke up the next morning, there was no hot water in the entire hotel. The drain in our sink was very slow. The only good thing I can say is the front desk staff is nice and the breakfast was ok. Will never return to this hotel; not even if it was free. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
