We were so surprised that our room had 2 bathrooms. Was so nice for getting ready. Wish we had stayed here more, but was leaving area. Our room was clean and very nice suite. Would recommend this to anyone and reasonable priced. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This location for a hotel is two hotels combine. The cards didn't work on all the doors and even after reloading them they still didn't work. The pool was in the other hotel as well as the breakfast. The staff was busy talking on the phone and wasn't happy to help you. The inside of the hotel was old and not updated. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Worst Place Ever.

I have been a Choice Privilege member for 30+ years and have traveled and stayed in many places and I have never had an experience that I encountered here. Reservations were made three months ago. We received a confirmation on 20 Jul. Two adjoining rooms for 7 nights beginning Sat July 21. We arrived at about 2:45 on the 21st. We had driven 13 hours, 3 adults and 4 children, and were told that our rooms had been cancelled this morning. That was untrue. I called reservations, talked to three different people, each of them showing that we had rooms booked. One of the ladies even called the hotel desk clerk to discuss the issue. They had cancelled our rooms and booked them right away to other parties. What a way to start a vacation. I suspect that they gave our rooms to a bigger party or whatever other reason. This isn’t the end of the issue. A formal complaint will be filed with the company and with anyone else who will listen. The Reservation people I called tried to be helpful. My complaint lies solely with this particular motel. Unfortunately because of this; I will never book a room in this chain again and will continue to believe that this was a case of discrimination. Fortunately for us a very nice person in the LaQuinta chain helped us. Her and that chain of hotels will receive an excellent rating. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Lazy and Rude Front Desk Agent

I needed to travel to Colorado Springs for my surgery procedure (C-section) that takes place on the 5th of July. My surgery was not scheduled until Thursday, June 28th. I live 3 hours away, but with all of the open fires, it would make my drive 4 hours. I hate being a last minute person, but waiting on the doctor, I had no choice. I tried to book my room as soon as possible, because I understand the 4th of July will be busy and hard to reserve a room. Also the rates change and I will be limited funds due to rent, utilities, etc. As I was making my reservation, because it was giving me so much trouble, it timed out on me so I called the hotel to just do it over the phone and ask for assistance. (This is not the first time it happened to me, as the 1st time it happened when I reserved a room at Quality Inn South) Scott answered the phone and I informed him that I am a Choice Hotel Employee and that I was having trouble with booking my room. He wouldn't let me finish explaining exactly what was going on, and he cut me off mid sentence and told me to take it up with MY manager. Mind you, I've had this problem before with trying to reserve a room at Quality Inn South and the front Desk Agent Sarah and the GM found a way to make things happen for me. Also, I am a front desk agent myself, SO I KNOW SOMETHING COULD'VE BEEN DONE. We got off the phone and then I wasn't too happy with the phone call, so I called and asked to speak to a manager, but it didn't dawn on me that it was a Sunday. Scott answered the phone, and with his greeting, he sound as if he was irritated. I asked to speak with a manger, and he responded that the managers don't work on Sundays, but with a sarcastic attitude. I wouldn't be leaving this review, but with the circumstances that I am under, and the fact that he cut me off as if he didn't want to deal with making my reservation upset me. I read the previous reviews and it was the perfect location that I needed that convinced me to ATTEMPT to stay at this hotel, but however, I was discouraged. Please take time and listen to your potential guests, as there is a reason for everything and you never know the guest's situation. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Nice updated Hotel

This is a nice recently updated Hotel. The rooms are very big with a nice living room and separate bedroom. Beds are very comfortable. Room has 2 bathrooms which is very nice. Hotel has easy access to the freeway. Only negative is there is a lot of homeless people wondering the street, but the Hotel is safe and You always have to have your keys to get in any door. They do a good job to make sure the Hotel is safe at all times. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
