Such a beautiful gem in the heart of Bath
Jan 13th, 2020
I stayed here with my partner for one night and we had the most incredible stay. I work within hospitality and like ,many others who work in the industry, have very high standards. This hotel did nothing but astound me from the incredible staff to the room and valet parking. I always feel rather uneasy when it comes to a service charge on the bill however it is really worth it as the staff are just great, the owner should be proud to have such great staff. We will definitely be coming back very soon as we both could not say anything but positive comments. Thank you so much to all the staff for your amazing hospitality! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Beautifully Decorated Hotel
Jan 2nd, 2020
I stayed here over Christmas with my mother and brother. We loved the decor of the hotel, especially the lounge off the bar with its comfortable velvet sofas and gas fire, perfect for a cocktail or two. The hotel bedrooms had everything you could possibly need though it would have been nice to have tea in the bedroom instead of going up the corridor to make it. Wonderfully comfortable bed though and nice and quiet too with fabulous views over the city to the hills in the distance. The heating only came on at 6pm and it was very cold in the rooms before that. Could have done with it on a bit longer in December! The location of the restaurant in the basement seemed a bit cold and not very cosy plus the small round tables were too small for three people especially at breakfast time. The Christmas lunch we had was amazing and we loved all the food in the restaurant. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
A nice hotel, but small touches let it down.

A lovey presented hotel that is let down by some of the smaller touches. Our room and en suite were spacious and to a high standard, however there were no tea or coffee facilities in the room, the bed was uncomfortable which was made worse by not being able to adjust the heating in the room. The staff were helpful throughout and the valet parking made life easier during the stay. There are tea/coffee making facilities on each floor but the coffee machine did not work on our floor. Upon asking about the heating we were told we could have asked the staff but the heating was boxed in so unlikely anything could have been done. A large plus was the quality of the food in the restaurant, we had lunch which was exceptional and breakfast the following day was also to a high standard. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Beautiful hotel but not peaceful.

A small boutique hotel in walking distance of city centre. The staff and food were superb. Room was very clean. Would not recommend a room to the front of the hotel, as the windows weren’t double glazed and it felt like I was sleeping on the side of the road - you could hear every car and person going by all night long, which spoilt our stay. Xmas at the Queensberry

We stay here quite often and always when in bath. Lovely hotel and excellent staff. This time our room was particularly nice with separate small dressing room and large separate bathroom. Problems with the restaurant this time but would not wish that to distract from the hotel itself. I have only given the sleep quality as average because the room was very hot even with windows open in the bathroom & bedroom and no quilt under 10.5 tog available. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
