Great Hotel to Relax on the hill of Revocadero Beach with great waves

Jun 5th, 2019

This hidden midsize hotel is on the corner of revolcadero beach besides a public & popular beach. PROS Great service as Boutique hotel. World class room amenities Salvatore Ferregamo Family size Palapas at the swimming pool are wonderful No street vendors disturbing at the beach. Good quality on dishes at excellent view from restaurant View and waves sound are closer from you room. CONS Only one elevator to rooms , Out of service on Shabbath. Air conditioned is not friendly to use. Fan doesn´t stop automatically. You need a car or Taxi to visit outside restaurants, places. No pool activities for fun. Small Swimming Pool. Conservative forniture, limited AC outlets. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Horrible service staff and food

May 10th, 2019

Besides the fact that the food is awful, the service staff is extremely slow. We had an extremely poor experience with one of the valet workers in which he lied to us and oversold us on a taxi ride. Manager immediately sided with employee instead of sympathizing with us. Me and my family visit mexico 2-3 times a year and we will never return here, I will also instruct my friends to do the same. Not what it used to be, but still a favorite.

Mar 25th, 2019

I have stayed at Quinta Real Acapulco at least 30 times in the past 18 years, it pains me to say that it's not what it used to be. The NOT so positive points: The hotel in general needs a makeover, it is starting to show its age... The food is ok, without being memorable. The service at the restaurant upstairs is very, very slow and inefficient. The price is excessive, only because of the condition the hotel is in. The POSITIVE: The location is spectacular, every room has a beautiful view and the size of the hotel is perfect for those of us who don't like large resorts. Service by the pool is great, well usually. Cesar is quick with a smile and will always set up one of the cabanas with lots of towels, one of my favorite persons at QR. Isaias, great waiter poolside! The service at the front desk is very efficient, Oyuki is fantastic! She helps with any hitches in the service and she always does it with a smile! Housekeeping is always helpful when anything such as extra towels or toiletries are requested. The beach is one of my favorites, you could say it's almost private. You can walk in for yards and yards with the water barely passing waist height. The water is crystal clear and the temperature is perfect! Despite everything, Quinta Real Acapulco continues to pull me back time and time again. Maybe it's nostalgia. That's why I give Quinta Real 4 stars and not 3, the positive for me still outweighs the negative. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

OLD DIRTY

Feb 5th, 2019

A really bad experience, the hotel is OLD, dirty , beds sheets are hard as a cheap motel. I really don't get why this is not a 2 star hotel. They charge you for EVERYTHING even extra towels. Check other options int he area. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Sorry but this is ridiculous

Jan 13th, 2019

Let’s start with the good things: privileged site out of the Acapulco bay, very very nice view...that’s it. The franchise sells itself like creme de la creme hotel, luxurious and high end. The truth is that for the price payed for the room it’s not worth it. You can easily find a better hotel and service for less money. The installations look very old and without any meaningful maintenance. The rooms are “luxurious” in a very weird manner, the bedding feels cheap and old, the mattress literally had springs coming out of it, no wifi/internet services (paid or free) except in the pool and even if you want to charge your thingies you can’t find a correctly placed outlet to do this, I had to move some furniture and unplug a lamp in order to do this. I sent an email with my complaints to the administration and the answer was slim to none. Don’t waste your money here. Lot’s of nicer places to spend your money in Acapulco. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
