Bohao Radegast Hotel Beijing We were very pleased with the Bohoa Radegast Hotel . The bedrooms are spacious. The gym is well equipped with several treadmills available. We frequented the hotel restaurants which were excellent. It is centrally located with subway stops only a few blocks away. Employees went out of their way to communicate with us. They helped us to navigate our way through Beijing.. talking with cab drivers, mapping subway routes, and even sharing their phone numbers in case we got lost. One caveat: the hotel may give your room away if you arrive after the designated time. Best to prepay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Excellent hotel for the money

Nov 16th, 2017

I stayed in this hotel quite a few times and never got disappointed. Staff are friendly and helpful. rooms are always spacious and clean. Highly recommended If you stay in this hotel, make sure try the Chinese restaurant on the 3rd floor serving traditional Beijing food. Excellent food at very reasonable price and I believe their Peking Duck taste better than most of those real famous Peking duck restaurants that I tried. My only suggestions are that please improve your coffee and do not steam the bacon at the breakfast buffet. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Redeghastly

Grubby, close to Guomao and the business district but otherwise not a great place to stay. The rooms seem very worn, noise levels are high, and amenities mainly consist of a commercial gym and spa with a pool, heavily used. Staff was not particularly helpful, and whoever they used as an interior decorator needs re-education. Funky touches such as a player piano playing by itself. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly......!

Sep 6th, 2017

Overall, this is a nice hotel and well located in downtown Beijing. Numerous eateries and can easily get a bike or taxi right outside. The rooms? Very nice and no complaints save one. The air-conditioner like most China hotels only cools to 22 degrees! During the Summer, that just don't cut it!!! Only speaking to the manager got me a room that went down to 20.5 which just made it bearable for me to sleep. First night was just too hot. Seems many Chinese hotels lock the thermostat at 22, even though you tell it to go lower, it won't. My only complaint. Beds are very nice and room is well appointed. First room had a shower/tub.....man, what a mess taking a shower with the floor getting soaking wet.....and I'm careful too! Second room had a walk-in shower in addition to the tub, so that was fabulous. All in all, I was well taken care of. Hey, even though there is no price on it, don't use the shower/bath package or you'll be charged 45 RMB!!!! There is a Starbucks about a 1/4 mile down the road inside a large office building and again, numerous eateries. Hotel restaurants as usual are expensive and nice looking, but not very tasty. Breakfast Buffet is quite large though and has good assortment. Lot's of construction going on locally, so be careful. All in all, I would stay at this hotel again but would make sure I get assigned to a room that the AC can get below 22 degrees Celsius. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not a 5* hotel, but not bad

Jun 3rd, 2017

This hotel is advertised in some places (and rated in its reception) as a 5* hotel. To my opinion, not according to Western European standards. But if you pay around 125€ with breakfast, then it could be considered as a fair deal for a 4*sup hotel. The hotel is placed in the business area of Beijing, with the famous skyscrapers of the city just within walking distance. The bathtubs are installed in such a way that even the most careful person would end up with the whole bathroom entirely flooded :) The hotel offers access to a privately own well-equiped gym. The English skills of the staff are a disaster, impossible to communicate with half of them. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
