Hotel located in the city centre, with all the sights within walking distance (you can park your car in one of the nearby garages). The room was a bit dated (the shower head’s height not ideal for average length men), but clean and spacious. Friendly staff. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Top location to visit the UNESCO parts walking

A nice building with a top location in the heart of the city that allows you to do all by walk. Staff is very friendly and prices ok. Our room was nice and quiet (we asked extra for this) only the arrival/departure with the car on the street is somehow stressing and I advise you to take the parking/valet service since else it is even more stressing. Very good location in the old part of Salzburg. Lots of tourist attractions and restaurants in walking distance. The hotel is in an old and charming building. However, a bit noisy. Nice breakfast. Difficult to find parking nearby. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Probably one of the best hotels in Salzburg

I and my family were on a Germany/Austria winter trip, and we came from Frankfurt, Garmisch-Partenkirchen, and Innsbruck. On our trip, this was the best hotel we stayed in. The location is simply excellent. It is only meters away from Mozart's birthplace, one of the landmarks of the city. If you are traveling in a rented car, there is also an auto park not that far away. Overall, location is excellent. The rooms were fantastic. The hotel itself is a baroque building, and the rooms were designed in the same style and were extremely cozy and spacious. There was a widescreen TV, a minibar, a closet, a nice bathroom, and more. There even were Mozartkugeln on the bedside tables. General cleanliness, as far as I remember, was also good. With its baroque design and extreme coziness, the rooms deserve a 5-star rating. The staff were extremely kind and were willing to help us anytime e asked something, whether it be some information about the city or a request. There even were some employees who helped us get our luggage into the hotel. The breakfast was very delicious, and there were a lot of food options to choose from. You can also ask a waiter to bring you coffee, prepare a custom omelet, etc. Five stars for breakfast. In conclusion, if you have enough budget to stay here, definitely do. In my opinion, this hotel is one of the best in Salzburg. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Quaint old buidling but space constraint
Apr 7th, 2020
You have 02 entrances to the hotel, one in front of the river and the other thru the back lanes. Its a old quaint building so cramped in regards to space. Very timely and so every item and space has something to say of the time gone by. Rooms are comfortable and clean and we also got a good view of the river. Space in the room again cramped but we enjoyed. It was the days of the festival and so the streets were crowded and so was the Hotel which charged us a huge tariff. Staff were professional and didnt give a space for any courtesies. Had to wait for breakfast since the space was less in the buffet area. Good spread of breakfast spread and the warmth of the sun which kept us company. With the festival the night scene was a little rough, since younsters drunk and breaking bottles of liquor on the streets but hats of to the municipal workers who did a fantastic job of clearing the space by the morning. The hotel is in the middle of the town, so transport was easy and could go easily around. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
