Nice place....very convenient

This place was really clean and convenient with connection to the MOA. Staff was very friendly and helpful. With Covid still being the issue, there were only 2 people per elevator if not in a family which was a bit frustrating when mall closed and everyone wanted to go to their rooms. Parking was easy and close to entrance and also had valet parking if desired. We had rooms blocked off for a volleyball tournament so the cost was a bit lower than normal pricing. I would recommend this hotel if you're a die hard shopper and need to "bag drop" in your rooms multiple times per day. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Not worth the price, just drive to the mall.

I called in to ask about covid precautions and make a reservation. The front desk told me they wouldn't make a reservation, and just to make it online or call their call center. When I arrived the next day the pool, and exercise rooms were not available like I was told. The bed did not have fitted sheets, so the flat sheets came off while sleeping. The shower did not have a door, making the entire bathroom floor wet and slippery. The light switch for the bathroom was not located in the bathroom. The staff prevented customers from using stairwells, leaving the elevators as the only way to the higher levels. With Covid precautions only 2 people were allowed in an elevator, and only one elevator can be called at a time. We had to wait in a long line that that extended out of the elevator hallway, past the restaurant and down into the reception room to wait for an available elevator any time you needed to get to your room. The Radisson parking lot costs $20/night which is not included in your room price. The rooms were small with no breakfast provided. For $60 less I could have stayed across the street and drove to the mall in the less time than it took me to get down the elevator. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Could go either way

The first issue I had with the Radisson Blu is with their customer service over the phone. This might be at the corporate level if they have their calls sent to the same location instead of this particular establishment. The customer service over the phone was horrible, the first time I called I asked if they would price match as I wanted to give them the opportunity to take all of my business instead of going through a third party site that would collect a fee. They informed me they would not price match so I booked through Priceline. Being curious the next day after booking with Priceline I found that the rates matched there's the next day. Phone call number two: I called ahead to see if we could check in at 2:30 instead of two, I was informed that rooms are not assigned until check in, I asked if I could check in on the phone as I have a toddler with me and would rather not get her out of the car seat and back in if we could not get to our room. The gentleman on the other line did not care and said again "rooms are assigned at check in" and hung up on me. Customer service at the hotel was completely opposite at check in. The gentleman directing traffic and the lady at the front desk were extremely nice. Tip: bring a box fan to sleep if you need noise. The doors on the 9th floor slammed so hard that it woke us up every time a neighbor would open their door. This could be an easy fix with adjusting the pneumatic cylinder. Some things that bothered me but were at no fault of the hotel...neighbors screaming at each other in the hallway..and another big one especially since I was traveling with my child, on Sunday night the 9th floor smelt completely of marijuana. Paper-thin walls & semi-clean room
Jan 25th, 2021
I don’t recommend this hotel. I like how it’s attached to MOA though, that was convenient and made for a nice Winter trip. I’d try the Marriott attached next time if I wanted to do a similar getaway. The walls are paper-thin so you can hear people in your adjacent room(s), if they are talking in the hall (even many rooms away), and whatever business anyone is doing in the bathroom. The door slams and even the opening of other doors is also loud and clear from within your room. They could alleviate this by not booking everyone staying there on the same floor, but they seem to like to pack everyone in, even when not at capacity; I’m sure it’s more convenient for housekeeping, but with walls that thin, I’d sacrifice that in the interest of a better customer experience. Also, there was tape on our ceiling and some on the bathroom floor (it seemed to be leftover from a party in the room). There was a sticky spot on the tile floor too. It didn’t feel like the room was cleaned very meticulously, which is concerning amidst Covid. The restaurant has good food, but they are busy with limited logic about spacing requirements. They seem to limit dinner reservations more than at breakfast. The food is also a bit overpriced, but that’s true of most MOA dining. I mostly thought the breakfast pricing was especially exorbitant at like $4.50 for juice and $3 for toast. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Dirty uncomfortable room

I have stayed at this hotel several times for work. The staff is always nice and friendly. The rooms are clean & the bed are fairly comfortable. The mall of America is connected to the hotel so you don't have go outside to go shopping. The food in the hotel restaurant is amazing and offers a great variety of options. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
