Underwhelming

Jun 15th, 2019

On our 2nd of 2 nights at the Revere. Nice location. Upgraded to one bedroom suite. Checked in and was charged a $25 resort fee which provides access to roof top bar and WiFi. The rooftop bar was closed for a private event and I questioned why I was being charged for a service I can’t use. They reversed the fee for the day. I asked for extra pillows via email , no extra pillows , called when we returned again waited after midnight never came. Called again in the morning after a horrible nights sleep never came. After waiting around for over 2 hours called spoke to the manager. We left and when we returned after 4 attempts finally had pillows. The prices for food and drinks at the restaurants are absurd. $11 for an IPA. The mixed drinks start at $15- $275 and are watered down. All you can taste is a sugary mix. The bathroom in the one bedroom suite is tiny! Reminded me of being in a small hotel in Paris. I really wanted to enjoy the hotel and gave it a lot of chances. Very disappointed. Never stay again. Nice hotel but guests take 2nd place to corporate events

Jun 14th, 2019

Rooms are very very comfortable and location is good but, of the 3 nights we stayed we were unable to use the bar on the 1st night (corporate event) and the rooftop terrace on our last day (corporate event). Exceptionally disappointing as it meant the majority of our discretionary spend was made outside if rye hotel as we were made to feel unwelcome in what was our temporary residence. Never has this happened to me in all my years of travel and I expected much much more from what is a top rate hotel xx TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great hotel in Back Bay

Jun 14th, 2019

I love being on a high floor away from the elevators, and the lady who checked me in (Ricki) gave me a great room! I had a patio door that opened to a small balcony with a great view of the city. The bed was one of the most comfortable I have ever had in a hotel and I slept really well. A colleague of mine was staying in a nearby hotel and she said my hotel lobby was very peaceful compared to hers! We walked all over Boston and had the best weather. Great place. Easy to find

Jun 13th, 2019

Easy to find and parking onsite. The hotel itself was busy for an event but we were still accommodated well. We were upgraded to a ‘loft’ which was a fantastic room with 2 bathrooms and 2 balconies overlooking the city. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Amazing trip

Jun 11th, 2019

We had a great stay at the revere and highly recommend it! The hotel was Clean, great decor, comfortable bed, AC kept us cool, big TV, great amenities, nice bars and only negative was a small bathroom but normal for a city hotel. The staff was great and checked us in early and gave us a hour late checkout. The view from our suite, on the 22nd floor of the city and the charles river was perfect! The hotel is in a good location by the boston common and walkable to any end of Boston. We walked every where from the hotel. We will be back! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
