So I stood here for a volleyball tournament this past weekend and we were told breakfast would start at 7am., needless to say the first day, the restaurant opened at 730, the other days were fine. The carpet had disgusting stains in which we would not even dare to walk in our socks!!The linens on the bedding had two small stains which were barely visible, but there. I did not have room service come to clean so I asked the front desk to give me towels, toilet paper and soap and she said she needed to check if they had not left for the day, unacceptable!!!this is a hotel, these things should be on hand at all times..Coffee and tea is put out at 5am and then removed from the desk before midday, ridiculous! just leave it out all day for your guests. No fridge or microwaves in the room. Lastly, I needed to WORK, SO needed a business center..2 computers there and none worked,,front desk just shrugged it off when I asked. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Room was clean but had no guest information (tv, wifi, dining etc). The hotel website says there's a pool but I wouldn't know because there was no guest information. There was no guest information in the lobby and the front desk has limited information. The hotel is apparently on someone else's property so there is a $17 parking fee for all guests. The headboard was not securely fastened to the wall and fell off while I was in bed. There was no coffee maker in the room. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

This hotel has the absolute worst management team in the industry. Our team stayed here months ago and they promised to pay our travel agent, to date they have not responded to our calls and they are out money, never mind the hotel is gross and in disrepair. The hotel is dated and from my understanding they take over bankrupt hotels to try and turn them around. They have failed miserably and our group will never stay here again. Shame on Mr Franco and his staff. Horrible. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Advertised as 3 1/2 stars on TripAdvisor, we chose this hotel as an economical stop on our way north. Very poorly marked, we trusted our GPS that it wAs indeed the Red Lion. Front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The room itself seemed clean . Our room had a broken toilet seat, stained carpet, one bottle of water and an ice bucket. I had to find a maid to get some soap. The shower curtain was dragging in the tub as the rod was coming out of the wall. Except for the courteous front desk clerk nothing in this establishment was welcoming. Asking guests to pay for parking in their own lot seems ridiculous. I would never stay in this hotel again . The web site should indicate that the restaurant is only open for breakfast. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I booked this hotel literally as it was the hotel room near downtown I could find. And there was a reason. First of all the restaurant is not operational except for breakfast which was way below average quality. Coffee was just terrible. Waitress was lovely and attentive but you can’t pay with a credit card. There is not bar or place for dinner if you arrive in the evening. Facility is there it is just not staffed. Room is very dated. And I was put in a handicapped room and shower was so low I had to stoop at 5”5. Area it is in is creepy and “short walk” to downtown takes you under the interstate where people are sleeping. Sad as the guy at front desk was great but would drive 30 minutes to stay at a better hotel. They say they are renovating but.... TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
