Mini Getaway!

Feb 18th, 2020

My husband and I recently stayed at the Raddion February 16- February 17. My husband and I love to visit Niagara for some time away and because we have been there so many times, we typically have our preferred hotels. Given that we went on a long weekend, a lot of places were already sold out so I came across the Raddison for a really decent price and decided to book a King Jacuzzi Room. Upon arrival, the lady at the desk was super friendly and checked us in really quickly. Our room was extremely clean and had a gorgeous view of the Canadian falls. The room was equipped with a microwave and a mini fridge (we did not use any of these amenities, but was nice to have) Our Jacuzzi also had a nice view of the falls which was great. Parking is not free, there is a surcharge for that and because it is a shared lot with the Outback Restaurant, it can be a little challenging to find a spot to park. That would be the only little issue you could run into. I would strongly suggest maybe bringing your own sleeping pillow from home as the pillows are extremely soft. We personally had a hard time with the pillows and found them to be uncomfortable. BUT if you don't mind that, probably not an issue to be concerned about. There is a Turtle Jacks restaurant on the main level which is open for a buffet breakfast for $15.99 per person. The buffet was pretty good and had lots of breakfast options to suit everyone dietary needs. Overall the hotel was great, conveniently located near Fallsview Casino and walking distance to lots of restaurants. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Amazing hotel even in winter time

Feb 13th, 2020

Amazing and romantic view of Niagara's fall. Big room with Jacuzzi, comfortable bed and pillows. Very good price for winter time. We even have a free late check out. Thank you! It was sad to leave so soon. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Incredibly disappointed

Feb 8th, 2020

I wouldn't be staying at this hotel, unfortunately, I didn't have a choice since I got sick and stayed here for 10 days. 1. When we arrived women was nice, she even upgraded room for us, unfortunately, we didn’t stay in that room for a long time, because 11 floors felt to much pressure for us next days changed to 3floor - unfortunately, we arrived at room sheets was dirty (like women’s period what you can’t wash out) 2. Staff is rude here, except 1 woman in reception she was nice and sweet. (1 person from all hotel staff) 3. I was sick and wanted to stay calm in my room, just sleeping - but they didn't allow me - even I had sight ”please do not disturb” - housekeepers knocked to my door loud and disturbing. 4. One day when I asked to not disturb be, housekeeping and management came to my room - and said ” I need to go outside so they can clean the room, that's the rule and policy if I haven't left room for 48 hours” - the first time in my lifetime have heard that kind of rule. After they did this really necessary cleaning- still there was dust on the floor and they didn’t take dirty plates from last night's room service! Not so useful to bother people for housekeeping if they can’t do their job right. 5. Gym temperature was too high, we asked the front desk if it's possible to put the lower room temperature - they said they will do it! - but in 10 days nobody did it. + there isn't any disinfectant what to clean sports supplement - if someone swet there before you - it's your problem. And I suppose they don't clean the gym so often because when we arrived there was outdoor had on the floor - and it stayed there for 3more days- so I suppose they are cleaning the gym every 3 days. So take your antibacterial gel with you. Staying at the hotel should be pleased with not a nightmare! Unfortunately, that's how I felt every day arguing with staff and housekeeping. P.S rooms aren't so cleaned, and dirt in all small places in the room. Also, there is a young who works for the hotel, he's really understandable and deserved much better respect in the hotel.
