Awful hotel $80 return to airport $160 return to downtown (CN Tower)

Aug 8th, 2019

Room ok - not an airport hotel in our view (add $240 if you want a downtown visit otherwise $80 - no transfer option despite what is discussed) Breakfast dismal - service surly and shocking. Almost nothing to eat and on asking for help with the toaster burning the bread we got the answer “automatic” no effort to help. And believe me that was the only option. Worst hotel breakfast and service ever!! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Good Value Nicely Renovated

Dec 7th, 2018

Hotel has been renovated - nice look. Beds good, clean. Great location to easily walk to Toronto Congress centre, restaurants and easy access with 24 hour shuttle service to the airport. Cost to park $14. Restaurant on site. The only thing I found was that because there is no carpet the room we had was somewhat echo - y but not a reason to not stay there. They've done a nice job. Poor Value for Money

Dec 1st, 2018

The Hotel is dated and in needed much improvements to the rooms / lobby / restaurants etc. The lifts are dirty, I mean really dirty!. One of the lifts has been out of order for some time. What the Hotel does not tell fee paying customers is that the Hotel currently provides accommodation to refugees - mainly African and middle east origin well in excess of 100. Lower floors are mainly used for refugees. According to the Hotel Reception Desk, this is a long term programme to house refugees until they are permanently placed. There lots of kids in this hotel from an age range of 1 to 15. A yellow school bus comes regularly to pick up kids to school. Evening meal time is hectic in the lobby and restaurant area due to free food being given to refugees. Hotel has employed a security guard to manage the situation but no success. Although I have stayed at this Hotel few times in the past, I will not be staying no more until they sort out the cleanness of Hotel Lobby / Lifts etc. Hotel needs to be Open about housing refugees so that fee paying guests are fully aware!! Underwhelming

Nov 25th, 2018

Rooms are comfortable but the hotel lobby and common areas are dirty and untidy. Feels less like a Radisson and more like a sleazy motel. I would not recommend this hotel and would not stay there again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
