I arrived late on a weeknight and Daniel was kind enough to upgrade me to a suite. Daniel and Yvette both treated me so well during my stay. The room was spacious and comfortable, pool was great for an afternoon dip, and the location is so convenient. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
The staff made us feel very safe, welcome and valued
Aug 4th, 2020
We came from out of town on July 31st and didn't know anything about the property. I called before we headed over and asked about a specific feature I had seen on the website. The person who answered the phone told me that it wasn't available. When I got to the hotel, the person at the front desk, Daniel, had apparently talked with that person and had moved us to a room with that feature. He recognized my Marriott Bonvoy status and was overall exceptional. The property was very good with all of the recommended safety procedures and we were very impressed. I would highly recommend this place. It had a really nice pool and outdoor area. We had breakfast the next morning and it was delicious. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Rewards members - Through COVID cutbacks, stay at the cheapest of the CVM Marriott, Fairfield and Courtyard
Jul 22nd, 2020
Physically, this property is nice. After cleanliness, bed and pillow comfort are most important to me, and this property is spot on. However, because of coronavirus, Marriott has released the hotels from the requirements to adhere to their standards for elite status. While other Marriott's I have stayed at have continued to adhere, this ownership group does not. No welcome gift or points. No breakfast in lieu of lounge access (though you can still buy breakfast). Therefore, it is likely that the service experience for elite members may actually be better at the other lower tier hotels - at least through September 15, 2020. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Average Property Not Luxury
Jun 17th, 2020
I've stay here a few times. Some rooms at this property are very small. This property doesn't have complimentary breakfast. The lobby area is very average nothing amazing about it. The pool is outdoors nothing special about it. The gym area is ok on the ground floor. Customer service is not the best. I asked the lady a question I knew the answer to. She told a lie then I corrected her and then she said she didn't know that's what she was told. The TV was messing up my entire visit. I had to get service on the TV around 3am. The remote was still messing up after maintenance left. The concierge lounge was not open. This is an ok property in my opinion for the rate and amenities. I don't think its worth it. Your basically paying for the name. Its other properties in the area that really have that luxury feel. If thats what your looking for its definitely not here. PS: The pictures in this post are in a bigger regular rate room because its closer to the end of the hall. Regular rooms in the middle are tiny. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
A Great Hotel - A Great Location!
Jun 13th, 2020
I specifically selected this location as it sits directly across from Crabtree Valley Mall with lots of great selections of restaurants and shopping. Centrally located and easy to get to almost anything in Raleigh, Durham, or Chapel Hill. Swimming pool was nice and big, the staff were extremely nice and helpful. An overall excellent experience!
