During our 4 night stay room wasn’t cleaned or fresh towels given. Breakfast was over 30 euros per person and a free for all with no social distancing respected. Queues for check in/check out and elevators were long, seemed a lack of staff on the main desk. Even though our visit was paid in full, still required a deposit of £100 on arrival?! Plus city tax?! Had a reservation for four nights at end of April but our flights were cancelled due to Covid. Couldn’t get a refund from hotel, they said they were still open, and at one point they sent me a cancellation letter with a cancellation fee for the full amount of the stay (€2k). I called their bluff and said I would be arriving for check in. They then said they were closed, and had been for 6 weeks. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE. Definitely won’t be recommending this hotel group (they have other hotels throughout Europe) to anyone, in fact I’ll be recommending NOT to book. (I work in the hotel industry) DISGRACEFUL. Great stay at Leonardo hotel Amsterdam Rembrandtpark. Although my partner and I were very confused when we only received €50 back from our deposit when we had paid €75, receptionist mentioned about paying for city tax, however I still think that’s a big amount. I would’ve liked to have been told at the beginning of my stay that we would be losing money. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Terrible - Just after your money, no consideration for its customers

We planned to stay at this hotel on the 3rd July but due to the pandemic KLM cancelled our flights so we are physically unable to travel to Amsterdam. After contacting the hotel countless amount of times their response was the room is non refundable take it up with booking.com. We have been back and forth with the hotel and booking.com and the hotel are showing no compassion for it's customers. Given that my husband is also high risk so would be extremely dangerous to travel the hotel are purely focused on getting their money and are saying " we are still open so it's not our problem" Absolutely shocking service, if you can avoid at all costs. Good stay and good customer service

I stayed here in 2019 for 3 days and it was a truly enjoyable experience. The breakfast bar was very impressive, Floor17 was a great experience and the room was quite comfortable. Also, I had a new reservation for June 2020, but thanks to a kind lady named Meng, I was able to change my reservation until June 2021. Thank you Meng! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
