Nice, decent hotel within walking of Titanic & city centre

May 23rd, 2020

Stayed at this hotel for two nights B & B as part of a large group travelling to Belfast to watch ice hockey. Can't comment on price as I don't know but I believe it was reasonable. We arrived fairly early about 10am & being a lot of us it took a little while to check in but the staff were super organised & most of us were able to access our rooms which was great as we'd travelled through the night & needed sleep! Our room was a twin, it was basic with wooden floors & plain decor but it was comfy & clean. There was a small open wardrobe, safe, iron/ironing board, hairdryer, tea/coffee facilities, desk, USB ports, bedside lamps, TV, telephone & decent lighting. There was no view from the window but we didn't mind, as not using the room much & the blackout curtains were nice. Bed was comfy enough to start with then I started getting an achy back, but not much I could do about that. The bathroom was compact but clean, the shower was a lovely walk-in type & I could have stood under it all day. Toiletries provided were shower gel & liquid hand soap. Breakfast - lots of variety, cooked & continental. Fresh fruit, yogurt, croissants, jams, gluten free bread, cereals, all very good. We didn't have dinner only pizza which was tasty, £11 for a margherita & £13 for pepperoni. Hotel lobby always seemed buzzing with people & had a fairly decent seating area, the bar & dining area were also a good size & a live band played on the Friday night. Staff were always friendly & helpful too. Location - within 15 minutes walk of Odessy arena, 25 mins walk to Titanic experience, 5-10 mins walk of plenty shops, bars & restaurants & approx 10-15 minutes drive of ferry port. Would return & recommend. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Short notice stay

Short notice stay and looked after very well by the reception staff. Booking in was made easier by the professional qualities of the team. A clean and welcoming room was a bonus. The food at breakfast was of a high standard, hot food was hot ( for a change in some other hotels). our overall experience rates a 10/10 stay. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Ramada Belfast

A perfect location to stay to explore the cathedral quarter, bars, restaurants etc. 10 minute walk to St George's Market. 20-25 minute walk to Titanic Belfast. Nice restaurants in St Anne's Square behind the hotel. Rooms are decent with everything you need. We asked for a room on the top floor at the back of the hotel and it was really quiet. The shower can be a bit messy as it is wet room style so the water can spill over the floor. It cost £31 from the airport. Breakfast is plentiful and serves up to 10 am. The hotel had no hot water one morning but things were sorted quickly. It didn't spoil anything. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
