Terrible bathrooms, poor breakfast

Jan 9th, 2020

Disappointed by this hotel. Arrived there in December, the floor heating in the bathroom was turned off. We learned that it was turned off in the entire hotel by the owner. The room we got had TV problems, so the receptionist moved us in another room. The bathroom in the second room had broken and disconnected floor tiles, besides the fact that the toilet was smelling pretty bad. Eventually, after additional TV problems, we got complimentary breakfast, which was well received, but the breakfast options were too limited for the price the hotel was regularly charging. This hotel is well located and slightly cheaper than other nearby hotels, but it is still not worth the poor conditions. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Nice hotel

Jan 1st, 2020

This was a nice hotel with decent rooms and really nice bathrooms. Fantastic shower! It was a bit of a maze to get around and despite stating there was a gym in this hotel when i eventually gave up looking for it and asked reception, it turns out there isn’t one (even tho there is a sign on the lift for it and there is a gym advertised) no explanation was given for this. The hotel staff were quite hard to find, i had to wait for ages for someone to come to reception. there is a machine in the lobby that does a pretty good coffee. The location wasn’t great but there is a train station closed by. Breakfast was pretty average, there was no fruit available. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Terrible hotel, non existent service

Dec 1st, 2019

Out of place hotel chosen by Cosmos. Toilet that hardly flush and no one to asked for help.. Bed are creaking and so tiny space for triple share. Buffet breakfast doesn’t have enough choices especially for a plant base eater like myself. Vienna is a beautiful city but a pity that they have a hotel like the Orangerie.. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Terrible bed. Never triple share

Oct 10th, 2019

Circumstances dictated we needed to triple share. I was unlucky enough to get the instrument of torture...a fold out bed! It creaked with every slight movement and by morning felt like I'd been heated with metal sticks. This hotel was booked by Cosmos as part of a tour. Not sure if they received a discount..we certainly didn't. Hotels should not offer triple share if they cannot provide at a minimum a sofa bed. I paid the same for my trip as my companions. Daylight robbery. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Beautiful city but a hotel where things don’t work

Sep 11th, 2019

We stayed in a double room of this hotel as part of our European honeymoon. First glance looked good and the room was nice and modern. Only problem was that the air conditioning didn’t work and external blinds wouldn’t close meaning a hot night and early wake up... pretty poor and we would not recommend staying here, especially in the warm summer months.
