A little disappointing

Jan 23rd, 2020

We were just passing through for a couple of days and this was handy to where we needed to be. The room was small but adequate, the beds hard but ok. The website advertises daily housekeeping, so you can imagine our shock on arriving back at our room the second evening to find everything as we had left it - beds unmade and wet towels on the floor (with none for the morning). We mentioned it to the desk clerk as we checked out, but she didn't seem to pay it any mind. We had spent the best part of a month travelling, staying with one hotel group, and this was one of the few departures from that pattern - probably won't happen again. Disappointing, and not good value. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Welcome port in a storm

Jan 20th, 2020

My rating is based on the incredibly understanding, friendly, helpful front desk staff and convenience of hotel for my travels. Arrived in a downpour with freeway traffic at a standstill due to winter storm/chain control conditions ahead. Truly a "life saving" port in a storm! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Pet friendy!

Staff was wonderful!! very Friendly. We were traveling with 3 large dogs so it was very nice to find a great place to stay. There was a nice field next door for the dogs to run and stretch their legs as well. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Noisy and not ideal

Jan 6th, 2020

It is very close to I 5 so you hear the traffic all the time. The shower rod was rusty, no fan in the bathroom, the bed throws were frayed, hot tub didn’t work, no chair at the desk in the room. Dingy rooms. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Just okay...

Dec 31st, 2019

Road trip through the area with family, we were needing a place to stay for just the one night. It was close to Interstate 5 and easy to find. Lobby was clean and well lit for 9 pm. We were greeted cheerfully and he got us checked in quickly. The room was large, but in need of some updating. Our in room air conditioner only “kind of worked.” It was great to have king beds for the room, but they were on the firmer and lumpier side. Water pressure was low and the bathroom looked like it had been patched one too many times. Kids were able to use the pool for the last hour before it closed. They enjoyed it. No pool towels, but we went to the front desk and they were able to get us some bath towels as they were out of pool towels. We also picked up additional towels for the room as there weren’t enough. Breakfast was a little sparse and really not that appetizing. Bread, bagels, and cereal were just okay. Waffle maker made good waffles and plenty of syrup for the kids. Red apples, hard boiled eggs and yogurt rounded out the selection. Overall the place itself was just okay, but the customer service was really good. I would probably try one of the hotels across I-5 next time though when passing through. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
