Horrible Experience, coachroaches present

After a 20 hour drive we were exhausted. The vending machines were out of soda and the store is shut down, so we had to go to the store for drinks. They do not serve breakfast due to covid (not mentioned when booking). Our Room did not look cleaned the floors were dirty and tub had hair. I went down to request a new room, unfortunately the room they offered did not accommodate our needs. We were only using the room to sleep for a few hours so I told them we would just keep the room we had. I went to the room and needed to just relax so I layed on the bed and a coachroach crawled on the pillow. I was so disgusted. We immediately grabbed our bags which we did not unpack. Upon checking out there was not a manager on duty so they could not refund my money. They had to inspect the room to refund my deposit and he said the bug was still on the pillow. I called the manager every day and he was never available. Three days later when I finally spoke with him he would not refund my money because he said I had to bring the bug because he has never had any complaints of bugs and also I could have just taken another room. I called the 800 number to open a ticket. They will need to investigate the situation, before they can fo anything. No guarantee I will receive a refund. I will never return to this hotel chain. This is the most unprofessional hotel I have ever stayed in. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I stayed here on July 2, 2020. I had to wait about 5 minutes on someone to come to the counter. Then when they get there, there is no customer service. They just look at you and wait for you to tell them what you want. Then they inform you that there is no breakfast or mini mart due to the Covid. Their sign says free breakfast when you pull up. And they didnt offer anything to compensate for it. They tell you there is coffee in the room but it is a one cup at a time coffee maker. Only enough for 2 cups. And theres not enough creamer and sugar for every cup. And it tasted bad. The rooms were okay. The TV worked fine and the bathroom was clean. However, we did not sleep much. You can hear everything from horns from trucks all nite and police sirens to the AC coming on and off. There were multiple sketchy people walking the property and yelling at each other. In other words, it's not in a great location. The pool is small but nice, it only goes to 5 feet. Overall, I would not recommend staying here. I would definitely had paid a little extra and get closer to the beach area of town. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Disappointing service, disgusting room

I booked here not knowing what I was getting into. When I went to check in no one was present so I had to wait 15 minutes for a worker. You are now required to deposit $50 cash or use a debit card with a $3.50 fee, which was not listed anywhere online or in my confirmation email. I then went to my nonsmoking room that reeked of cigarettes. We walked in to a chase lounge with red stains on it along with a disgusting sticky floor. I later went to the desk to ask about late checkout as a platinum rewards member and was told to wait while an employee messed with a printer. I stood there for 10 minutes waiting on him only to be told they would not honor late checkout. Very disappointed in this hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Traveled to the beach for a day. Booked room before looking at reviews, lucked out hotel not as bad as the previous reviews. Checking in went smooth , room was great, no bugs in site , bed comfortable, hotel was nice. Still no breakfast (corona) TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Not a bad facility or location, but had a ridiculous policy of requiring a $50 deposit for "incidentals", though there were no incidentals. If you put on card there was a $3.50 deduction from refund, fortunately I had cash, which was fully refunded. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
