It is situated in a lovely location. The hotel leaves a lot be desired regarding cleanliness, noise, AC unit, shower and lack of restaurant facility for many days. The value received for the price paid is not just TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Nice visit. Great location

We had a lakeside room - no balcony views at this hotel . Lakeside has 2 small windows to view lake. Restaurant & bar closed Monday and Tuesday - we were not informed of this and I called 5 days ago to inquire about food services at hotel . Due to covid : Fitness center is closed. No housekeeping but they supply fresh towels . We brought our own towels, alcohol wipes and alcohol spray just to feel comfortable although the hotel is well equipped with sanitizers all even in the elevators! Room amenities: Microwave, mini fridge, iron, coffeemaker, shampoo, etc and blow dryer supplied. We walked along the nicely paved path around the lake and the center of town is within short walk TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Took the happy out of my Happy Place
Sep 16th, 2020
This was our 1st vacation since before the pandemic and I was very happy to spend it in my happy place. My husband and I visit the Finger Lakes multiple times a year and this was our 1st time at the Ramada. Check in was quick and easy and our first night was fine. The next day we were out and about and came back to the room to find it had not been done. We called the front desk to be informed that due to CDC guidelines they were not cleaning rooms during a customer's stay. My husband and I had just spent several nights in other hotels in the area where this was not the case. I asked to speak to the manager but he/she was not there. I did speak to the head of housekeeping who was very nice. He tried to explain the policy, but I told him that no other hotels in the area were doing that. He was very apologetic and said he would make sure my room would be done the next day. I was told the manager would contact me, but he/she didn't. I told the housekeeping manager that if I had been told this at check in I never would have stayed. The Ramada took the happy out of my happy place and I will never stay there again. The room was so-so but I’ll cut them a break because I know they are renovating. Hopefully it will be nicer after the improvements. That being said the views of the lake, the walking path along the water and the access to the wineries are incredible. Made the issues with the room secondary. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

The location is great, you are in the center of all the shops, restaurants and shopping stores. There is an outlet about 12-15 minutes away. Staff were friendly and room upon entry was clean. What I did not enjoy was there was no room service, this was not noted on the hotel website. I would of liked to know this info before I checked in. I understand the reasons, just would of liked to have a heads up. You had to pick up fresh towels at the front desk daily. There is renovation going on so certain areas including the elevator is a little rough looking. There was no soap dish in the shower, which is the weirdest thing to me so we had to shower with our soap in our hand. I requested a late check out at 9:30 for 11:30 (check out is 11) and was told they had reached their max of late check outs. I don't know, maybe there is a cap I just never heard of it ever. I probably wouldn't stay here again until the renovations are complete and room service has been reinstated. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
