Pet friendly budget hotels

Nice and pet friendly hotel, consistently served breakfast even during covid-19 and committed with the hygiene. The staff really helpful and they have comfortable bed. My best choice for budget trip hotel from east coast to west coast on route 66. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

I am on a road trip driving from Los Angeles, CA, to W. Lafayette, Indiana. This is my third hotel and so far the worst! The first person I ran into as I was walking toward the hotel turned out to be the receptionist, who was just extinguishing her cigarette. She was not 20 feet from the building for sure as she could have hold the door for me. That’s how close she was from the entrance. She was not wearing a mask and when asked about the sign on the plexiglass divider that says masks are required, she said, “ that was only for uh.....May I have your ID please?” So she evaded the question. I asked if her hotel doesn’t need to follow CDC guidelines, she said she doesn’t have medical problem. She totally disregarded the tone of concern from me. I am okay if people don’t want to follow anything, but if the hotel’s own staff’s behavior and words contradict the signs their management put up everywhere, and they disregard their customers’ safety concerns, or any concern for that matter, then I will give them a negative review. There is a sign on the entrance door that also doesn’t make any sense, saying “if you are without a mask, we will assume you have medical conditions and we will welcome you ...” i wonder about the education level of their management. Maybe that’s why the receptionist couldn’t answer questions from me in complete sentences. I am mad! This is not about masks. This is about if I raise a concern as a patron, I expect the hotel staff to have empathy at least and not simply write me off and talk about her own reason for certain behavior. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Stayed 1 night on 2nd floor on Oct 2, 2020. Most noisy room Ive ever stayed in. Young kids running in and out of doors and elevator with no adult supervision. We could smell cigarrett smoke in our non smoking room. Bathroom didnt look clean, there was a spot on the fitted sheet, curtains wouldnt completely close so there was a 6 inch gap. The cable was constantly streaming and no sign of COVID awareness anywhere. There were 2 tiny alcohol wipes which we used on the remote and clock and chair/table top. Bring your own sanitizer products or better yet, just dont stay here. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

We stayed here for one night me and my son, very nice staff when we came in and good parking too! The room was very clean, beds were comfortable and it was a safe place. They also served breakfast which was great since COVID 19 breakfast was really good including an automatic pancake machine! the only dislike about this place is the juices we had were gross especially the orange juice. After prepaying for this room that showed a 3.8 rating, I checked in and out only minutes later. The room I was given was dark and disgusting! When I opened the door, so got hit in the face with such a horrible smell, I couldn’t even consider staying in the room. We left and went to another hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
