Beautiful Huge Resort

Jun 15th, 2019

This is the biggest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The property is vast. Lovely, ginormous pool area with music blasting all day long and no where to hide from it. Somewhere to sit to avoid the loud music is impossible to find. The pool area is clean and well kept. Service was good. Our room was large and comfortable with a nice view of the strip. If you are handicapped or traveling with small children you would be best served asking for a room close to the elevator. Our room was 50 rooms down from the elevator. With only two choices on the whole lengthy floor. One being to the pool area and the other to casino/lobby area. A long walk dragging your luggage. We were put off by the lack of coffee service in the room and the signs promising charges if you even looked at items for sale for more than allotted time. You may not use the mini fridge for any of your own items. Each of their items has its own slot. Aside from the casino area there is a movie theater and a bowling alley all on the property. Plus, many different restaurants offering all kinds of choices. We tried the brunch at Feast buffet and although it seemed to go on for blocks with everything imaginable the food wasn’t as good as I assumed it would be. As I’ve always heard the food in Vegas is fabulous. We overfilled our plates but found the biscuits dry and other items not as tasty as hoped. We had another breakfast at the Grand Cafe which was also just average. Your local iHop being a better choice. Dinner at T-Bones Chop House was fabulous and a must try. The French onion soup being the best I’ve ever had. Steaks cooked to perfection and service impeccable. Delicious dinner! Nice romantic ambience. Our catered business meals were all delicious and presentation was visually appealing. Hotel offers a shuttle to airport. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Incredible hotel. Only place to stay in Vegas! Room was ready early, breath taking view of Red rock canyon. Our room was 15th floor. View of beautiful property pools and canyon. Room had two beds, chaise lounger chair. Nice bathroom with deep tub for relaxing. Shower separate along with toilet area. Great deal for the price well exceeded expectations. Warning do not touch the mini bar items or refrig items as you can be charged. That was only con to This stay. Pools were plentiful, hot tubs hot!! Plenty of chairs available. Restaurant on site, decent to good. Only ate at 2 and foid court to be fair. Other restaurants available. Buffet was ok for breakfast, not sure about other meals. Staff friendly. Offer tours to red rock thru tour company. Highly recommend. It was incredible. Our vaca got off to wonderful start. Tgus hotel raises the standards extremely high so warning most other hotels cant compare. Loved loved loved it. Will for sure be back and bringing others!!! Jun 14th, 2019

From the walk in the door, Red rock casino hotel was amazing. Early check in was easy and quick. Room was incredible!! Canyon view was the best. We also had great look out on pool area. Floor 15 and amazing. The pools (yes plural pools) always had room. The hot tubs were hot!! Great time and always a chair to be found. Restaurants had good food. Made reservations for red rock canyon tour and that was great. Very happy and highly recommend staying at this hotel if you go to Las Vegas. It is off strip but worth the ride!! Make sure all of your family’s names are on the room!

Jun 12th, 2019

Make sure all of your family’s names are on the room! My key became deactivated (“too close to my phone, they are very sensitive.”). Even though I have ID with the same last name and know the room number they refused to help me out. My husband had just started a poker tournament and frankly I didn’t want to disturb him. I was standing right next to him at check in too. I am waiting hours in the lobby and no one seems concerned at all. On the plus side the dealers in the Casino are super friendly and helpful and I had a great time there! I just won’t be staying in the hotel again. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Beautiful potential, often fails on execution

Jun 7th, 2019

First things first: the property is beautiful and well maintained. The casino area is clean and the air is well circulated so it's not smoky. The standard guest rooms were large and clean, and the inclusion of a soaking tub is a welcome bonus. Staff was friendly and helpful. A few negatives: Hard to find parking when arriving. Not one single sign at the approach simply says "Hotel Parking" like every other large hotel property in the world. Ended up parking first time at some lot on the other end of the resort and had to haul our stuff across the whole casino. No coffee maker or refrigerator for guests to use. A $40 "resort charge" and they still feel the need to force you out of your room to nickel and dime you for a lousy cup of coffee in the morning. I travel constantly for business and don't remember the last time I stayed in a hotel room without a coffee maker and refrigerator. Shortsighted and greedy. Memorial Day featured an evening pool party with live music. Happened to be country music cover bands, which I don't particularly care for so a little variety might have been nice. But, live music is fun anyway and they were pretty good for tribute bands. Not a problem. All weekend they had signs all over the property advertising the event (pic included), charging $15 cover and featuring "DRINK SPECIALS". Sounds good, they're probably going to give me a dollar off their $10 beers. Whatever. So what were the drink specials? Nobody at the pool bar knew, that's for sure! There were none according to them, and the manager "couldn't be found". We walked in for free from the hotel elevators, so I would've been pretty peeved if I actually paid a cover to get into this thing. On the way out, I asked the lady taking cover payments what the drink specials were. She wasn't sure, but she said the bar would know (right?). It's hard to imagine this situation is accidental. It has to be either an intentional bait and switch, or gross incompetence. Pick one. It's little things like this which tarnish the experience. I would have been happy to score Red Rock a 4 instead of a 3 with some more attention to details. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
