Raw Sewage Fumes, Disaster of a night

Feb 20th, 2020

I stayed here for 3 nights for a conference. After leaving the room for dinner at 6pm one evening (everything normal), I returned at 10:15pm to a room that was completely consumed by the most revolting, nauseating raw sewage smell. It turned out that some back-pressure must have drained the toilet p-trap of its water and all of the sewer lines of the entire hotel were wafting into my room. Maintenance took 25 minutes to get to my room and was going to flush the lines, spray air freshener and set up a fan to blow the stink out into the hallway. I told them I wanted a new which they immediately obliged...but it took the bell captain another 30 minutes to come to my room with the new keys and get me transfer to the new suite. So, I lost about 2 hours sleep, not to mention the health risk and major inconvenience. When I checked out, when I saw that they weren't proactive in offering any sort of goodwill gesture/credit, I asked if there were any notes in my file. They looked and offered a $25 credit. When I escalated to the manager (Nishant Yadav, Assistant Hotel Manager), he apologized and offered an $85 credit (on a $800 total bill). When I calmly asked if he agreed that credit for one full night might be more commensurate, he said he could not do that. If it weren't for this major disaster of a night and the lack of commensurate goodwill (i.e. credit) in exchange, my rating would have been 5 stars. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Off Strip luxury

Feb 14th, 2020

If you love Vegas and want to get away from all the lights and noise of the strip I highly recommend the Red Rock. I have stayed here numerous times and each time i enjoyed my stay very much. Rooms are very nice and spacious with great views of the mountains and the red rock canyon. Really love hanging out at the nice pool area and bar that they have. Casino itself is huge with many restaurants surrounding it. Buffet is very good and recommend going for breakfast. Look forward to staying again in the future. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

A beautiful location. Mountains in the background. The red doors are an awesome touch. Sign up free for their reward card and get a wonderful buffet for 12.99 Food was wonderful and a nice selection. A little ways out, bit well worth it. The most friendliest staff at the buffet TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Born and Raised in Las Vegas!

Feb 11th, 2020

My standards are pretty high when visiting my home town, mom and dad, daughter and twin grandsons. That all said.. I will not stay anywhere else but the Red Rock Casino! Everything is under one roof! Every view from every room spectacular! Food, scrumptious, service 5 star! Not a fan of the LV Strip and this place is close to my childhood hangout of Red Rock Canyon and Calico Basin! We will be back! TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

front desk scam

Feb 4th, 2020

I was a guest there for a business meeting. The front desk billed my c card for charges that werent mine. Went I saw the charges posted after I checked out I called them. Even though they acknowledged THEIR mistakes, c card fees and currency exchange added up to over $100 which they did not make up. 4 calls later they wont do a thing about it. FRONT DESK SCAM Dont stay here as front desk posts $ to your card hoping that guests wont catch the over charges TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
