We intended to stay at the Quality Inn next door, but we're referred here because the Quality Inn had no hot water. Upon coming to Motel 6 the clerk offered us Rm 105, a smoking room, which we wanted. Unfortunately there were issues: nonworking light by bed, slippery bathtub - where I fell this morning, but not hurt. Shower faucet where the H side was actually cold, leading to my fall, when I tried to turn off the water. Management said Hispanic plumbers often think C means "hot" because the Spanish word for hot starts with a "c". As a remedy, I was offered a refund, providing I check out immediately or staying and holding management not responsible for my fall. I decided to stay, because leaving was not a good option. Most LYING RUDE "CUSTOMER SERVICE" OF MY LIFE

I've stayed at Motel 6 literally hundreds of times in many States for my job duties. I have NEVER had such an unstable, hostile hotel clerk (or ANY customer service person) in my life. She was completely lying and mistaken about EVERYTHING SHE SAID AND OWES AN APOLOGY. She's completely unstable. I had an overnight booking followed by 6 more nights I went to renew today. Her lies: 1. I had some issue with the manager last night. Funny, I never even saw the manager "last night". My only dialogue with a regular staffer was yesterday at 3:15 when I paid for last night's lodging. It as a normal interaction except for the feeling that the clerk acted put-off to be doing her job. I said the usual “please” and “thank you” and the clerk could not muster any courtesy. I didn’t say a peep, just went on about my way. How that could construe anything negative on my part is beyond me. She must be thinking of someone else having some issue there. I said or did NOTHING BUT KIND COURTESY. 2. She said I “hadn’t paid Motel 6…[I] paid Expedia”. That’s a lie, they were paid, and I had a confirmation from MOTEL 6 THREE days ago. 3. She said I had not paid at all. As it says above, I paid 3 days ago. 4. She said she “had already called me earlier this morning”. Another lie, I never spoke with her. I do not know if she was having some hormonal issues or what. But I DIO KNOW SHE LIED ABOUT EVERYTHING SHE SAID. Try and get your facts together before you wrongly rant about COMPLETE LIES (and like the booking are completely verifiable). If they want to piss me off then let’s state more facts. The hotel is halfway to a boarded-up decrepit shoddy has been hotel. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Friendly front desk

The rooms are dirty, boogers on the walls smear on the light switch. Even after to additional cleanings by house keeping the room is still dirty with hard beds and trash pillows. The front desk staff is amazing nice and willing to help but house keeping does not appear to care. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
Free feces with your stay

Offering feces with your hotel room. Multiple rooms offer clogged toilets. My dogs didn't know if they were supposed to drink the dirty water flowing out from behind the toilet. Can you say shigella. Also known as contaminated water from human feces. What do you get when you have a bed, 27' TV, a desk, and a defective bathroom? Answer "Motel 6 Charlotte NC Airport" The area has three other acceptable motels across the street. It's not the location that's the problem it's the management at this particular Motel 6. I would know. I work across the country remodeling 27 different retail store. This is my 12th stay at a Motel 6. This is by far the most disappointing and unacceptable Motel 6 I have been in. If you're looking for peace and quite while you sleep don't stay here. Traffic from the 85 is within throwing distance. The housekeeping and office staff insist on entering your room daily. Regardless if you have been in your room less then 24 hours. Regardless of when you sleep. There are good, decent Motel 6's in the area. Do your research before you hand over your hard earned cash. Nothing great but nice place to sleep between layover staff were helpful with shuttle transport to and from airport and check in little weird st check in window if you come late you have to go to a window qere you slide your cards and such through a window TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
