Hotel booked a dinner cruise and kept the deposit $ despite 2 month cancellation and Covid restrictions.

Jul 17th, 2020

I was planning to stay in this hotel for one night and the concierge, Raymond, seemed very eager to help me and book events for me. The only thing I booked through him was a yacht dinner cruise on the Seine. The France trip was cancelled due to France not opening to Americans due to Covid 19. I wrote the Hotel three times starting July 6 saying, "I'm assuming, with this much notice, that we can get back the deposit of $276 for the yacht dinner cruise on Sept. 10" I got no response with 3 tries. I can't believe the dinner cruise company won't honor a refund with 2 months notice. The charge was from the Hotel with Raymond saying "Pick up the tickets from the Hotel the day of the cruise," so it seems the Hotel has the money. I didn't expect to get the deposit for the Hotel back as I booked thru But that was not the case with the cruise which went from my checking account directly to the Hotel. VERY disappointed! All great!

Feb 19th, 2020

The staff was very friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Great location; things to do; great breakfast, lunch, and dinner close by; and quiet. Clean and comfortable. They offered breakfast but we went out because of the great breakfast restaurants in the area. Even so, they gave us cappuccino on days that we were too busy for breakfast. They were very helpful with arranging rides, tours, etc. Recommended. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Our First Trip To Paris and Could Not Have Found A Better Hotel

Feb 16th, 2020

I do not write reviews so forgive me if I do not go into detail that may go into regular reviews. However, my wife and I chose a Paris trip to get away for a week and neither of us in our life have ever been there. So to Tripadvisor I went along with a few other sites and sight unseen chose this wonderful hotel. It was perfect. Right in the middle of just about everything and whatever was not close by was a train or short Uber trip away. The staff was outstanding from the moment of the reservation until we left. Everyone could not have been more friendly. I am orignally from US my wife from China so needless to say our French is lacking....but that was not a concern. The whole staff from the front desk staff....and kitchen...could not have been more accomodating. They even set up transportation to and from the airport. We took a tour to Normandy which they set up for us and sold us passes that were good for the numerous museums to choose. Food and drink? They serve breakfast if you would like...and it is the same serving each day....but really was awesome all food and drink fresh and delicious. As for other food close by. Take your pick. From a 30 second walk to a 10 minute walk there are restaurants of all shapes and sizes to fill your appetite for food and drink. Has been mentioned that the rooms can get warm....we only were really in the rooms at night and they do get warm....the heater is the only thing that works in the winter....but we opened the windows....yes you can actually open the windows to the outside...and the fresh air was more than enough to cool things down. The room was very clean each day, the bathroom very modern....which I was a little worried about since the building was constructed in the late 1400's.....but no worries there...more modern than my bathroom at home. Hot water and all. The rooms were also beautiful to look at.....they can be a but snug...but for us it was perfect. You don't hang out in your rooms all day anyway when you are in the middle of Paris. The room rates are very competitive in the surroundings. We were just amazed, pleased, and recommend anyone who does not know where to stay or what part of Paris to stay this is it. The staff for us was the icing on the cake. You will not get any better attention staying at some high rise five star name brand hotel. They treated us special from the moment we got there until we left. Thank you, you made a special trip even better because you took many of the worries out of our hands. On our next trip to Paris. There is no other reason for any other hotel to look at we will stay here. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER

Great hotel - 4 days in Paris

Feb 7th, 2020

Wonderful hotel! Great location, close to museums, restaurants, transportation and shopping. Staff were amazing and looked out for your every need. Single person traveling alone and felt comfortable and cared for the entire time. Room was immaculate. Staffed 24/7. Highly Recommend this for everyone. I speak French but staff spoke several languages so there was never a problem. They also arranged transportation to and from the airport for me because of the strikes shutting down the RER. Simply amazing

Feb 3rd, 2020

After an icky AirBnB experience, I booked this rather quickly. WOW! The front desk gentleman was very funny and polite (thank you, Lebanese guy!). I had RM 47 with gorgeous wooden beams. Beautiful fabric on the walls. Still amazing but a few downpoints: it was a bit warm and I couldn't get the room to cool down - opened a window. Remote didn't work but who watches TV in central Paris? Get the history of the beatniks who took over the hotel before it was renovated. Fascinating stuff. TRIPADVISOR.COM USER
